What are they and what do they mean? Just so I know what im spamming about for next time.

when you use a skill you push the button for that skill (1-0) and a yellow box appears in the skill that you last press on, people get crazy over it bcuz bots use the skill straight from the skill books when u press S, they dont use the hotbar... therefore when sum1 is yelling YELLOW BOXES OMFG BOTTAR BAN BAN BAN!!! he is insinuating that the person who posted the SS of his char is a botter because he recently used a skill and the yellow box didnt appear...

EDIT: i figured out about this while grinding... the yellow box appears the second u press on that button... which means you can click on a mob that is far away and the yellow box will appear... but if you run a character with no speed by the time it gets to use that skill the yellow box will be gone....

Yeap. But there are many reasons why boxes would not appear in legit ways.

E.G. you press a skill way before you are near the mob, so the box dissapeared before the skill starts, as you are out of range.

How does a legit person not have yellow boxes then?

Oh, on any of the skill bars from F2-F4, if you right click a skill, a yellow box won't show up.

This is the first time I ever used the term "yellow boxes"...and it took me a little while figure out what it meant...But know that I know I'd like to ask the people who seems to know a lot about it...

How come a screen shot that doesn't show "yellow boxes" isn't proof that the person is botting? I ask because whenever someone points it out they get flamed and get told that it isn't proof of botting

The mods on here don't seem to respond to the screen shot as proof and ban the person who's char is in the screen shot...Instead they just chastise the person who pointed it for starting a flame war..Shouldn't the screen shot be proof?...Or am I wrong and the mods do ban the person that posted the screenie?

ahhh..thanks...Its a pretty clever excuse for a person that bots...especially if they are fighting a party giant in the screen shot...but still...it is possible

It's very rare that a 'no yellow boxes' screen that doesn't have a skill being used on the extra bar isn't a bot. The chances are just so insanely high that it is a bot. There IS still the slim chance the person is 'innocent' hence why SRF does not ban on that alone. It's still safe to say, the majority of the time the accuser is right.
