Regarding Event stones

we should all know by now that current jewel box event gives stones of varying degrees with 0% assimalation, now i figured i might as well waste all of mine considering your cant sell bcuz no1 will buy a 0% stone, now idk if im having some crazy luck, but i went through 5 str stones and 7 int and 3 luck(8dg), and they all worked, not one failed, all ina row, all in hotan(i only mention hotan cuz ppl say the lag in hotan makes alchemy fail) you think im having super luck? or are other ppl finding this too?

0% stones are the absolute BEST you can get. It means they CANNOT Assimilate, and I believe they will ALWAYS work and never fail also. Just look at astral, immortal and steady stones. 0%.

It does now. 0% refers to the assimilation. Afaik, the probability of succeeding or failing is still 50/50. I don't know the formula or algorithm Joymax uses for that.

0% stone will only change the stats that the stone is intend to change. It will have 0% of changeing any other stats. It does not mean it have 0% of success. And It is not like steady and astral stone. I've use a few and it does fail, but will not assimilate other stats.

First of all Asimilation isnt same as luck so all stones 0,5,10,20,35% has same chance to make stat 0-100%. This asimilation is probability that also other stat will change. So for example when u put STR stone with 35% it means that when alchemy succed there is 35% chance that it change also other stat for example INT.

Usualy when u make set u want all 100% so when u put most blues on 100% u afraid that next stone will damage other stat, so usualy ppl use 10% stones.

So now that stones with 0% are best stones which u ever can get on sro. It means u have same luck to succed but u cant damage other stat. I would use it when i would drop some shield with 100% block or so...

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that the higher assimilation % stones also have a higher chance of success. I've spammed the 0% stones and gotten 1 to work out of 8. Most of the time the stat goes to 0% because of success or stays at the same % you started with.

I do agree that these stones will be worth a lot of money later as the sun wh0res try to perfect their weapons.

Now that's incorrect. I had one recently that assimilated my mag attk. It failed with an INT stone. So Yes it can happen when you fail.

+1, i did ALOT of alchemy and never had a single assimilation when a stone failed.
Ur assim must`ve been on a stone you tried earlier and didnt realize it assimed.

assimilation means how much is it going to influence other properties of the item. Assimilation is no good as far as i know, the assimilation means mainly degradation of other item properties than those defined by the stone.

All i can say after alot of alchemy, when u fusing a stone u can get this as result:

- success, no assimilation
- success, with assimilation (it can be good, it can be bad; it's ur luck)
- fail, NO assimilation

For these 8,9,10d stones with 0% assimilation probability all u need to do is pray to work (lol) cause they can fail (they are not like steady) but u can be sure that they will NEVER assimilate any other stats.

Assimilation % means, the probability of the stone changing an other attribute, designated on the stone itself.
