Extortion.

Well i wanted to have a look at the new cave and stuff so i logged on my brothers character, and was browsing Jangan stalls, only to find that people are asking extortionate prices for 10 items. One guy is stalling 92+5 garment legs for 350m while another is stalling a 94+4 staff for 300m.
I dont know why people think they will achieve such high prices. I'd rather stick with my 85+7 or 76 sun until 98 and then buy a weapon, and hope for some gear drops along the way.

because most think that since it doesnt sell in npc that everyone will want one of the first 10D stuff...and so they think people who really want it will but it... like Pfff for instance, he bought a crossbow clean lvl 90 for 100m..

Uh, extortion has nothing to do with that, lol. If they were extorting us then they would be forcing us to pay the gold. It's just supply and demand.

bunch of greedy bitches is what they are lol.. 100m for a xbow clean? and like 70m for 2h clean...i mean thats ridiculous i would say a good price for a lvl 90 wep sucky stats +3 would be about 25m

If y'all don't like the prices then don't buy the outrageously expensive stuff.
After a while when the stallers see that their stuff ain't selling they'll lower the price.

supply and demand , if someone wants to reach the 100 lvl race 1st they will spend the gold to do it, also some ppl sold all there gear at 90 cap so they need these new weapons ect..

You all is so smart! Because we didn't understand the concept of supply and demand the first time it was posted. Thank you for further explaining. Oh and its 10D items are so pricey is because of supply and demand.

Its call selfish greed...the most insipid kind of trait to have....and most players on SRO are infected with it...If you take a real close look at whats going on you will see that those prices aren't necessary....Supply and demand is one thing but this is clearly extortion.
I'd rather wear what I find or buy from friends than perpetuate and feed this kind of selfishness.

I have 2 close friends that would love to have my 94 bow, but they also realize that the retarded botters will pay WAY over the normal price. They're smart enough to realize this gain is limited and should be exploited as much as possible before everything calms down. If you think playing the economy is 'selfish greed' then I don't know what to say.
Anyone complaining about prices should grow up and lrn2economy.

I love those first 2-3 weeks every update
At the last update m and my bf made over 1 bil reselling stuff only because people were too lazy to look over the stalls (because there was no stall network). Now, even that we have stall network, some people would give everything they have just to get the best stuff. And i'm thankful for that - i will get my money

You play since long and don't know that gold buyers/sellers meet at the jan stall?
The buyers puts for 500 mio in stall and get the gold for one stupid stuff in there.

ok i got a 180m offer for my bow and 150m + lvl 90 sword offer...should i try and wait for 200m? or take on of these offers?
