Before any flamer starts to flame "there are hundreds of such topics" or "buy premium" or anything along those lines, just gtfo.

So, is it possible, that I'm connecting straight for 1 hour, then I can manage to the herbalist and buy potions, want repair my stuff, dc. Reconnect back for like 30 minutes, I'm online again. Yay. But after I get to my training place... after 20 minutes... again a retarded DC. What the hell is going on with Silkroad? I could grind for 1 hour and spend the rest of the time for something better, instead of typing that Farking captcha all the time.

Sorry, just had to write off somewhere, I'm so totally pissed off today, even had to go to school because of some Farking retards.

bad internet connection?

The only time i have the same issue as you is when i have a bad connection. I have a wireless adaptor on my computer, the router is too far away so my internet sucks. The system that is connected to the router directly works fine, i stay connected all the time with that.
Im located in the west part of the US.

It's either 1. your connection..might not be stable...2. your computer/laptop

i've never had a dc...rarely...but thats mainly because my laptop is pretty up to date and my wireless is very stable. it's not silkroad's fault lul.

to me it sounds like your connection is unstable, causing the dc's.

No it doesnt have to be connection. I play on my bower with premium and never get dc, I log my rogue without premium and 1 hour max and then dc, and that happends all the time. You got kicked by someone else user that loged with premium.

When I have premium I can grind for hours, stay logged in for days. But without premium if I touch a monster within 2 lvls of me I dc.
Consider premium ticket a legit no dc client.

when the servers are full they kick people with out premiums. they need to make room.. it is just that simple..

Nobody gets kicked by the server...

Rofl, and what when 200 people logs ? 3700? Since goldbots never go off, that would means server could go much over 3500.
Thats not true at all, few people over 3500 are just for seconds sometimes, server kick non premium users when premium user logs to keep number of loged characters around 3500

+1.If Joymax didn't boot off non-premium users after the login of a premium,the servers would become way too crowded which would mean uber lag for everyone.Personally,I prefer dc/ing a bit then lagging all the time so your not able to play

If someone random DC's, then the server is back at 3500/3500...
The non-premium users can't get back in...
Why else in the world would servers go above 3500? (See rev6)
And never, NEVER, will 200 premium-people log in at the same time.

Okay, to clear up a few things, here are some facts that are true:
When you login you'll be given an unique ID (something like an identifier), which increases by 1 each time a player logs in. When the server is full and a premium user attempts to login it will kick a free user with the lowest ID. Imagine this situation:

1 premium
2 premium
5 free
6 free
8 premium
9 free
...

The server is full, one slot it needed. The player with the ID 5 would be kicked (as he has been on for a longer time span). Next time a premium user logs in the guy with the ID 6 would get kicked and so on.
Result: I'm not being kicked because of premium.

The second is about my internet connection. I'm using a 10M/1M connection, while my friend uses 1M/128k. What right now is happening to me, happened to him some time ago. But today he was still online when I got disconnected 2 times.

And as the third for my computer. It can't be anything wrong, because when I logged on my second account it didn't happen again, while it actually should if there's something wrong with my computer. But by now it's fix'd.

I don't see why people are still fighting over this.The reasons why people d/c is because they're pc/connection fails epic,you were dumb enough to use a bot,you don't have premium.Voila.

My glaiver doesn't have a premium and whenever he is logged in he VERY RARELY disconnects. I don't think it's luck.

Still, if this forum is meant to be a legit forum we should leave anything related to non-legit stuff out of it.

I wasn't accusing you of using a bot.I'm just saying,it might of been one of the reasons.

It's either a typo or a bot accusation.

Anyways, it doesnt matter if they bot or not (in terms of getting DC or not) since it's all up to wether they use a premium or not and/or their connection (well duh, if your connection fails you get DC! Surprised?)

I guess you're just slow then. But anyway, it's not about traffic, the main problem I wanted to point out is some weird bug, that happens to some characters from time to time that they simply can't stay online for more than 10 or 20 minutes. I'm not being kicked so a premium user gets a spot. The explanation is in one of my previous posts. Also, my brother was online at the same time and could just normally do stuff, PvP and anything else you usually do.

I don't think that non prem's getting kicked for prem users...I don't have a prem on my cleric and I've been online for a full week one time. (had alot to stall that week haha )
