wondering how much joymax actually makes a year from sro

if even 100 people on a server just bought premium gold just the $20 one thats 2k times 30 servers $60,000 a month

now thinking sp ticket 100 people also buying the 7.80 sp ticket 4 week gold, 780 times 30: $23,400 a month

plus 100 buying pet clocks, 500 times 30 = $15,000

plus a new avatar every month or so i'll go ahead and average this one at 60 sold per server, 60 times $13 =780 times 30 = $23,400
and accessories plus hat at lower rate of sales say 30 per server for the combo at $4.50 times 30 times 30 = $4050 a moth

new pets sold a month lets guess 20 per server for attack pets 20 times 13 times 30 = 7,800
ability pets lets say 35 a month, 8.8 times 35 times 30 = 9240

these alone easly = $142,890 a month not counting other random scrolls from mall or people buying prem +

12 months $1,714,680 they've broken 1.7 m a year with only moderate estimations of silk purchases.

Dont forget globals, they earn the most from them.

idk 500 packs almost seams too many sold but every server has like at least 8 people that use a full pack of a globals average a day, and a mass of people who just casually buy them, plus others that use them for recruiting.

not sure i'd guess as high as 500 because alot of globals get charged back

so pushing about 1.8 to 1.9 easily with globals

to figure this out right we need an accurate spending habits survey

Aggggges back someone posted their yearly earnings here. Shame I can't find it with search or google.

I can believe 100 a month for silk plus bot cards /gold maybe was those 100 euros really all toward joymax?

I mean thats 130 american almost, what are they spending it all on?

its a legit union though ^^ so not on bots/ goldbuying overall, with exeption of a few closet botters.
They spend a lot on reverse returns / globals but also some gender changers etc > Prem plus > devil spirit > pet, way to many people just buy basicly any silk suit that comes out T_T ... you know

lol per month they spend about what i have in total over my silk career. But how many people average per server actually spend like this compared the amount that don't even buy anything or those who buy moderately

What are you getting at anyways, you're numbers could in fact be less than what people really spend on. Even though it would be hard to believe enough people consistently buy prems for 12 months but new players (if there are any?) I guess would fill those slots.

Unless keeping servers up plus maintenance is a ton I'm sure JM banks enough overall. Where would a estimated number fit into the question though? Are you trying to compare it to something?

Just trying to make a moderate guess to joymax's minimum income based spending habits, of players.

I bet it doesn't cost very much to run joymax they got like 10 employees.

i think your numbers are low. when i new "dress" item come out i see well over 60 people.. the first one to come out 50% of the server had one..
i think they make a lot more then what your number say.. i know people that spend 400 a month easy (they have a few account) the number are a lot higher then what you think..

don't forget the pets and the avatar and the stuff the people buys, he maybe makes like 150k+ a month.

i remember seeing an article that says that JM earns 18m a year.

idk how much they get but to many for what we get:P
but i think they will never make it to blizzard because they earn on the game, month payment en 6,5mil people play it so count that out:P

I'm inclined to think that way as well...If their yearly earnings is 1.7mill then thats real low...even if it was 10 mill a year, when you subtract the operating cost from that they still aren't making as much money as they would like to. Especially when compared to other games out there now. No wonder why so many players that bot and have a steady silk history with them aren't being baned...Back in the day the bot ban list included everyone..not just gold bots..

Yeah when botting was rarely seen, but now it's just.. You really can't ban every single botter. Why? You lose majority of your income. That was there mistake. Being lazy earlier on to prevent all this. If they prevented it then more users would actually be playing and more money would've been earned.

thats probably alot less than they actually make.

premuims per server is probably ATLEAST 250, if not alot more

also almost all high lvl's and alot of low lvls have either a silk atacking or pick up pet, usually both.

globals are being used constanty 24/7

each new avatar gets atleast 100 buyers of the full set, and a handfull of people who just buy the hat or something

then theres astrals, scrolls, all that fun stuff


so id say 4+m per year 0.0

Remember that ppl can't buy just 7.8 silk at a time. They are forced to buy them in Quantities of 50($5) 100($10) 300($30) 500($500). Sp the Money they earn is prolly a little higher with 100 people

Remmber thrsite has adds so theyget about $300 dollars aday from that and there site is pretty popular so there site gets them alot of money.

you have to take in account the cost of the server and bandwidth which is ALOT

There's no real way of knowing the EXACT amount of money Joymax makes per year/month.Though I'm pretty sure I've seen a thread speaking of the amount Joymax made out of silks.Personally,I think your approximations are very underneath what they really make.
