cin was correct in deducing that the last few posts made on this account were not the real mike2007, but i assure u that the person posting now is. thanx to Kirkaldi, Ru Yi and Key-J i am back in control of the account and the pw ofc has been changed. thanx to Tasdik, specifically as well, who relayed what i said about it on iGL. and thanx to every1 that believed that i was hacked; if u hadnt i still might not b in control.

for those any of u doubters here is the truth. 1 of my accounts in game has really been hacked as well. all of my venus characters on that account were stripped, silk items destroyed or used up, and in murder. im deleting the venus characters and have had them blacklisted. mike2007 of xian is on the same account, but becuase of how much xian's traffic sux i have not even attempted logging into that server to c the state he is in. i have now changed the pw for that account, and i will log into xian after the next inspection to c what, if anything, is left.

and btw i think the hacker was a horrible imposter.

edit: so the only thing the hacker really managed to do was up my post count a lil

I hope you learn from your mistakes. You shouldn't use the same passwords for different accounts.

@silo: im extremely confident that none of the 4 ppl who ive told the info to have had anything to do with it, and theyve all said they did not have any keyloggers or any of that kind of stuff as well.

@moshe: if anything is left on xian i suppose u can have it. i shoulda given away the stuff a while ago to a deserving legit, cus i obviously wasnt using it. just agree to help me get back on my feet should i ever decide to restart there.

I was game manager on another game. All I can say is don't use the same email address and password on a forum as in game.

Those php forums are very easily to hack and most hacks are due to the fact that players use the same ID and pass on forum and on game. The fail is not in game but on forum. Hacking a php forum is the first test for a hacker.

I don't even let my son know my account details and I control and scan his computer to ensure that he does not have viruses/keyloggers etc, you give your account details to 4, count them, 4 other people and say your pretty sure they don't have keyloggers ... aaaahhh ha ha ha ha ha..... you should do stand up.. seriously.

mike you get "hacked" a lot.. you must have something on your computer or your downloading something...

the only other time i was hacked was during the exploit, and that was obviously not my fault.

@mike2007: I don't have any trust issues, I have worked in the IT industry for many years. I ran my own business servicing peoples computers in their own homes.

I KNOW how easy and simple it is for a PC running MS Windows to be compromised without the users knowledge. That's why I only use Windows for playing games (like SRO) and my wife knows to reboot into Linux if the laptop is in Windows and she wants to do internet banking etc.
