Why do 90% of nuker bots wear garment when 90 percent of the mobs they fight are physical mobs?

so wearing garments doesn't increase the power of nukes significantly vs armor, the garments are just for speed/ pots?

No. It does increase mag balance meaning nukes are stronger.

I remember pvp with 90 s/ nuker he would hit me about 11k with armor and 13k with garment.

Sorry, but garms do not affect the power of a nuke only affects how much damage is absorbed. Stats put on the gear is what made him hit harder, such as int which is what increased his magic balance. Only thing gear affects is defense when they have no blues on them.

Garms = 20% speed ( more defense against magaic ) & 20% less mp consumption
protector = 10% speed ( balanced gear ) & 10% mp consumption
Armor = 0% speed ( more defense against physical attacks ) & 0% mp consumption

gold bots mainly use garms because they use less mp

You're wrong. The type of gear you wear doesnt have any effect on mag/phy balance, only defense.

Edit: To answer why goldbots wear garms. Its pretty simple, they dont need to tank because they are supposed to 1 hit every mob.

Is the SS char in the sig your char ? If yes, then ... im truely amazed how you can grind up a 8x char with leet gear, and get wrong on this basic information .... Its like wearing a Louis Vuitton and dont know that its a French Brand ....

Now. Garment DOES NOT make ur nukes stronger. The Magical reinforce on garment increases your magical DEFENCE, unlike the magical reinforce on weapon increases your magical OFFENCE.

Magical offence = Magical Damage on Weapon + Int * Magical reinforce ( on weapon )

Magical defence = Magical defence on all your gear + Int * Magical reinforce ( On all your gear accumulated ).

On the topic starter, i think its because of the 20% speed and 20% saving on mana. Nukers costs mana like mad, so 20% is really a big help. PVP-wise, they have snowshield so they can tank strength users for a while. Wearing garment will grant some advantage over other int users.

Well my bad then, his garment set was prolly better pimped then.

To save 20% mp and saving 20% mp = less gold spent farming gold. At least for gold companies.

Anybody with sense will use garment with nuker. Maybe these bots are ran by somebody who actually knows the game.

i thoug it was that way:

Garment: 30% base speed increase and 30% less mp pots consumption
Protector: 20% base speed increase and 20% less mp pots consumption
Armor: 10% base speed increase and 10% less mp pots consumption

The game guide says it, the one u can disable in options, at least thats what i remember.

nothing harder than fight a int based on good prots or armors.

Its because even though those mobs at roc for example are phy based they still got a imbue which makes them hit harder and imbue is mag attack if you notice they got both phy and mag attacks but the mag one is more constant and of course speed + mp reduce so garm is the way to go. it's still your choice though.

Are you serious? You'd get raped by an int in garms in a sec.

Depends on their build. I was talking about S/S which seems to be what most nuker bots are these days. Anything other than garms for S/S is fail.

Spear should be prot though unless they are very hybrid, then they should be garm.

The easy answer is the speed / less mp usage. The mobs they are fighting are 15 or more levels below them so the damage they receive is small no matter what they wear.

Thats wrong lol...I pvp Int nukers in garms all the time, and I do fine. Unless you meant pure ints then my bad... but im hybrid s/s in prot and i seem to do pretty good against int's in garms easier for me to kill with stabs hhehe

20% less mp consumption = less money spent on pots.

Think you have that one backwards.
If they're pure INT they should go garms, because they probably wouldn't have fire.
If they're really hybrid they should go protector, with fire.
