alot of people in Troy gets messege that says "Congratulations! you won first place to collect your reward go to http://www.XXXXXXXXX.co.uk"

be careful it's scam try allready 4 people i know fell for this ..PLEASE report to joymax about it i allready did

Remove the link or i'll have somebody do it for you.
Could be anything on there and some people could click it as they are curious. You're basically spreading a scamming / posible virus/trojan site further.

So, what contest did your 4 friends sign up for? Since they all got messages saying they all won first place and all got scammed, I figured they all signed up for the same "contest"

on summer cert event came to me and told me i had won and would have to go to ****.joymax.com to give my account info to confirm my prize award, was told i won a som and i could choose lvl and weapon
all i had to do was go confirm with my info, and leave a space in inventory
so played with him asking him questions
asked why i hadnt seen list of winners yet on main site
answer we hadnt had confirmation from each player who won yet
asked about policy of never giving info to any one
answer if you dont want to win dont matter to me
asked if he could talk in pink
answer yes (but he didnt)
asked if he was a scammer
answer no he was gm mail for awarding prizes
called him a scammer
answer now you are going to be banned for a week

funny thing is i did win a sos d8 harp, lol

got pics somewhere if any wants to see, i can try to find them

Yeah I got this message as well(Server Troy, too) . I thought it was from the 10D SOS Event Prize, but then quickly realized it was a scam.

Yes, it was sarcasm. Out of all of the "contests" that JM has had have you ever had to sign up for anything and have they notified the winners via in game mail? No.... Being that that is the case, how could anyone actually fall for it? Those that fall for it are the same people that actually think they have won the British Lottery because they got an email that said they did (even though they have never played the British Lottery).

i wish they'd do that on every server,

They probably do it guild by guild, server by server, cause this was in Eldorado like 4 months ago... after that i heard it was spreaded out in Athens, now Troy...
Unfortunatelly, one of my guildmates fell for it...
And it was posted before on the forums, but i guess not many ppl saw it... i think it was in the Q&A section, don't remember...

try to scam a guild member and fail, about 5 mins later he scam sun daggers -.- from some1 else....he global again WTB all 9D sun weapons...pm him saying that I want his offer for my 9D sun staff (don't have sun) he offer me 3.9bil rofl....who the hell will pay anything above 1bil for 9D sun at this time. 100 cap is like 1 or 2 weeks away.

Yea we have this guy in our server that tries to copy names. of poeple that have a friend that borrows them sun etc. you know changing the L to a I or w/e hes been doing this for the last few months trying to Scam weapons tried to scam my +10 bow like that didn't fall for it thoug

Kinda sad what lenghts poeple will go just to get a lil power
