ok say i am doing a trade run 1 star
i see a player thief
can i outright attack him while on 1 star?
will i then lose my 1 star protection?
if i kill him will he be able to come back and then attack me without me attacking him again?
yes i know the minute i attack, then he can attack me back

If your below level 40, and you have a 1* trade with you, you cant attack him, and he cant attack you. If you are below level 40, and you havn't got a trade with you, or you have a 2*+ trade, then you can attack him, and he can attack you.

yes

yes, but most times player thiefs wont know unless they target you and then attack, if you spawn a npc 40 thief then they will see it and then attack you, if they can kill you
if you are lucky, they will be lower and leave you alone

So after lvl 40 it doesn't matter what star rate you have they can attack you?

yes, after 40 you are a target for all thiefs

oh well that sucks...

ok guys wow i honestly think some of you need to get to 90 before you say things i play on a level 72 wizard and occasionally on a lvl 83 warrior/cleric on sparta and i see 1 star traders level 76++ running out of donwhang and i cant attack them because they are 1 star so please think before you post.

i knew a guy that had a lv 80 trader char and a lv 90 thief char.

he was still popping 1* trades ^_^

he would just spawn on the low lvl 1* traders with his lv 80 trader... and then take the goods with his thief char lol.
