Im pretty sure its "technical help" section question.
But to answer ur question. I think just google for your graphic card and find the latest drivers.

That could be your problem. Drivers may not help you much.

Post some specs?

Lol that's more than enough, I run it on high with less. Just find your latest drivers and you should be good to go :)

What i dont understand is that it used to run normal, now is lagged even in the login screen thats why i suppose its a graphic lag, i used the link Azi suggested buut i displayed only one think so everything is up to date i guess, what else can be wrong here? :banghead:

Try the basics. Open up your task manager, look what is running. With a new computer you might just have a bunch of resource hogging bullshit going on, but I dunno...you should have plenty power to run SRO (although it IS a resource hog for the amount of graphics it displays. I can run Oblivion and other programs better than SRO and others).

^ already did that bro, still same problem.. this is awkward really.. all other programs runs normal, PC itself seems to run fine everything.

Theres another thing, lets say i open SRO client and then i open another game, when i try to go back to sro it is frozen.. that doenst happens on my other pc which is way older.. damn new things.

Got any other graphically intensive games you can test out? See if you get the same result?

On board drivers can be tricky. Check and recheck to make sure they're up to date, and download&install one even if it looks like it's up to date (what's to lose?). Make sure detailed shadows are also turned off as that's a killer..

ok you need to ask this in tech (been said already yes i know, but have to start with a flame before i throw my 2 cents in, lol)

sro is an older game and sometimes has problems with newer comps

try lowering your vid options in options of sro
also try changing your compatibility of your main sro.exe files in your main folder to win 98 or xp
and what kind of net are you now using, wireless? my hp uses wireless
if its not set up right that could add problems too
8) 8)

dont upgrade video drivers. always keep them with the default driver included.

I can't get any drivers from nvidia page, cos they just won't work on my laptop.
So.. I went to samsung homepage(yes, it's samsung laptop) and looked for drivers there and found some. And i guess that's how you have to act if you need 'em for laptops..

Just imho

for me when i upgraded my drivers, sro always ran slower and laggier. i never had this problem when i kept the driver that came with the video card installtion CD.

That doesn't mean you should never upgrade your drivers..it could of been a number of things conflicting with SRO because it's such a terribly programmed game. That logic is fail.
