Guys ive seen many silkroad videos on youtube and i always wanted to make one can anyone tell me how to do it and if i need a program can u write the link to the download? Tnxx

Record with Fraps and edit with Sony Vegas.
Google them and download, they are cracked version of bouth.

Or you can also use Windows Movie Maker for easier editting. Vegas is quite copmlicated when you first use it. If you have time, go with Vegas. If you want to make a quick video, go with Movie Maker.

For a video capture program that is free and good then use Wegame:
http://www.wegame.com/

And for editing, use Windows Movie Maker for quick and shitty results. Or use Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere Pro for decent/pro quality.

for some reason when i used wegame recorder...i would go to my Folder with the wegame recorded videos...and it would give me a windows error and the whole desktop would like refresh or like reset or something..i could never access them for some reason...anyone know why?

I`d suggest he should try Vegas or Movie Maker first. After Effects is a lot more complicated then Vegas...

Since you're new to this, I'd suggest sticking with Windows Movie Maker first. If you want to go beyond that, Vegas can give you more options.

If you want to go further, you can combine After Effects, Premiere, and Soundbooth for some professional editing for both video and audio.

You can do all that fancy shit and all but keep in mind: Substance > Form
