It works and if you use it properly it can be a life saver and a killer skill as well. Pure PvE skill, though.

Its the best bot killer/taxi ruiner skill.

Take this for example.

Walk by some ongs, make them attack you [don't attack them] find some noobs, use noise, then discord wave on yourself, presto, dead noobs.

I made white spiders attack a stuck bot in karakoram too xD.

massive waste i kept lvling mine to 70 in hopes it would suddenly get amazing.. it dosent even deaggro earth ghosts ffs.

ah, i see the problem...i took noise off so a mob could atk me, then i used discord wave without putting noise back on which did nothing now it all makes sence ty guys

I didnt maxed it. I used it to kill ppl / parties.

It does work, but you really need noise to be on. Play noise slap a mob then play discord wave. The mob should walk away to the nearest target unless you aggro'd it too hard. Best way to lure onto afk people. Other than logging off and bind running away.

Btw lv 1 does great if you just slap it without too much dmg.

The real uses for the Discord Wave skill is with parties, Bard being a support class. Mobs that might slip the aggro of the Warrior, using it on the person who has pulled the aggro allows for an easier time for the warrior to get the monsters back onto him, as in some cases it can be tricky to taunt again.

Nope, it's for killing afk people.

Once in a blue moon, I need to do it twice. It depends on how much aggro the mob has towards you. But it definitely works. It just needs all the SP you can give it.

Yes, it's fun to do it to goldbots, although once in the DW cave I accidentally killed half a party while running by them...

popping one stars is a good use of it though, lure tons of mobs then discord twice and they attack the trader.

killing power levels

killing bots

saving people in parties that might have the aggro and can't handle it


come on its fun at times and life saving at others, and can help you turn a profit, at least get it leveled a few times, probably no real reason to max it though unless you got sp to burn

I would use it more often in parties, but it has a little problem: if a mob has not already aggroed on to the person you use discord wave on, the discord wave will increase the aggro of that mob on your target instead of decreasing it, so it's a little useless to use when there is a crowd of mobs near your target and only a few of them are aggro-ing on to them.

Best use I have for it so far is killing bot taxis.

ya only lower level parties will you find it helpful or in retarded parties, higher up and competent parties every one should know what they are doing well enough to not use it, as well as having the protect buff the need for it lessens
