I am really desperate now.

Few days ago,everything was normal and good,and suddenly yesterdayI started getting stupid lag.Now when I am killing mobs it is really hard with so big lagg.
I was thinking that maybe it is problem with viruses atc. and I formated my comp and after that everything was same.I still got lagg in silkroad.

btw my computer is :
4GB ram
core2duo 2.66GHz
GF9500GT DDR3 512 MB

My internet speed is 512 kbps.And please dont tell me that it is too small,I have been playing SRO with it 5 months,and I never got lagg.Connection is just fine,I checked download speed and downloaded few things from net,and speed was not decreased.

I am going to become crazy if this countinues.

i have lag for 2 days too lv 83 pt mob killed me few times today so iam not playing atm my net speed 1 mb

There are two types of lag in silkroad, frame lag and character lag.
Based on what you said I'm pretty sure you mean character lag.. the usual culprit is your connection. You have to understand.. 512kbs is pretty bad. Most people are running on 5000kbs+.
Are you using a wireless connection? This can cause lots of problems while gaming. Also, if you have a router make sure you have the wireless secured. You don't want people in the next house torrenting away all your precious internetz.
I guess you can try resetting your modem / router, sometimes this can give you a "fresh" connection with better speeds.. other than that, you can call your ISP to see if there's any problem.
The only other thing I can think of that would cause this is a firewall issue or a virus. But you just reformatted so it probably isn't a virus.. you have windows firewall disabled, right?

I will describe my lagg:"Everything goes nice,and I am killing mobs,and in the middle of nuke,it just stops and my character is being in same position and nuke is not going anywhere,and for few seconds mosnter just dissapear,and I did not saw my nuke.Nuke happened but I did not saw it.
If 512 kbs is bad,why did SRO have not lagg for me 5 months,or more? It started with lagg yesterday.

I am not using wirelles,I have cable modem,and cable internet conection.
I dont have router.

And everything is good with internet speed man,please understand.I am downloading some movies now,and speed is great.And when I stop downloading movies,and go to SRO,lag is still there,and after 5 minutes too.

I had windows firewall enabled,maybe that was problem? But now I am not logged ingame so I cannot tell you is it laging now without windows firewall.

Now I disabled indows firewall,and lagg is still there

Im on 1mb connection, never lag and 24/7 downloading movies.

I know . Its really weird, my friends have a loooot better connections but when they downloading they have lags. I even tryed download and loading video on you tube still no lags .

3,5mbs and lags like hell >.< downloading nothing...
just 3x pc with sro

My dad works for comcast so i get free internet. I never lag for shit.

I never lag on a 2 mbs connection...

I get weapon lag now and then, but rarely lag/dc.

I am dissapointed with silkroad.I bought new comp before 5 months just because of silkrad,and now silkroad is laging without reason,I tried everything,from virus removal to format computer,and calling my ISP,but nothing helped.

I truely doubt its ur internet, because even a 512k woudlnt make you lag, the only problem you would have is downloading silkroad, lol! How bout you try to recover your windows, you may have gotten a small virus the hogs system resources, so if you can recover that should do the trick, and as well as that try reinstalling Silkroad as well. Those are usually the desperate moves but nearly work most of the time, and if not you can then narrow it down to your net connection which I highly doubt

Did you have brother/sister who use internet too?
You modem is only on your computer or something else like for TV ...

I have the same trouble. All my friends too. All at the same time. Whole screen freezes, and a few sec later, everything that happened in these few secs all "happens" at once. I already died a few times cuz of this. Pots still work but not that good.

I recovered my windows,in fact I reinstalled it (format C: ),and there is 100% no virus.
Silkroad is reinstalled 5 times.

my brother and sister are not using internet when I am using it ,cause there is just one comp.
My modem is only for this computer and only for this connection.

For the toppic starter, the lag you have is caused by route between ur pc and gameservers. You cant do anything about that. If you are able to do, change your ip(if you have dynamip ip). Some isp's provide different routes for different ip blocks. While some having goddamn lag, others may have crystal clear connection.

it is not the speed of your internet.. i have 15mb and i still lag sometimes.. you can play this game on dial up if you dont need to go into town so your connection is fine.. the lag could be anything between your house and jm servers... just roll with it.
