I know that level 90 thiefs drop 90 chest/89 legs. But, I want to know if the thiefs spawn that are level 91-93 drop 90chest/89 legs too? I heard somewhere that they don't. Another question is do thiefs drop sox items too? Thanks in advance.

and to answer your question, im fairly sure..not 100% that only lvl 91's and below will drop them.

any thing is random in this game lol, iv gotten sos items that are 10levels higher than the monster im fighting..
also i get 84 leg drops off of the rockys.. thats a 4level difference so could be 94 and below ..

SoS is known to drop 1 degree higher than the mob it's from. You can get SoX from thieves. Not sure about the dorp part.

I never get 89-90 items from thiefs or trader NPC but my friend use to do a looot trading and he have 89-90 legs and chest HA that he got from 96lvl thiefs, I also was wondering does higher NPC drop but he say they do.

actually no. I got a d4 sos spear from ghost and demon bugs, they are lvl 21-22(or3) they drop fairly randomly.

sox items dont follow the rule and the reason u got 84 legs at rockies is cuz there is no other tier of legs between 84-88 (80,84,89,92), u will nvr get a non-sox lvl 76 hands at any mobs below 76 and no mobs above 79.

For as far as i know Sos always drops a degree higher, som drops for the same degree, Sun drops for a degree lower... only this dint count at 80 cap at 8th degree, and doesnt count on the first degree.

Me and my union found over 12 pieces of 89/90 gear from NPC thieves. Level 95 NPC's were the highest to ever drop anything for us, but im sure higher level ones also have drops. It's a nice way to make a couple Billion gold ^_^

None of us have found a SoX drop from a NPC thief yet

A friend of mine dropped his sos glaive 76 at niya guards, so i'm afraid ur rule doesnt make sense

Most of us are Lv 7 and Lv 6 Hunter and Traders, it takes tonssss of trades back and forth to even get a drop, and even more trades for that drop to be 89/90.

+1, im a lvl 6 trader and i only got 1 90 chest in all the trades i did so far.

so does the lvl of your trader/hunter depend on if you will get more chance of drops or what? cause i might buy my uncle's char lvl 90 bow with like lvl 5 hunter i think or 4 almost 5...

No they just told you their levels to try to explain how long and how low the chance is to get one.

Eh, correct me if im wrong, but niya guards are degree 8 mobs ^^ true?
76 sos glavie is a higher degree sos in this case?
My "rule" would still be right then.

Meh, the som would make my little "Theory" wrong i only based it on the drops i got myself, and the drops my unionmembers/friends got ^^

But damn, thats a lucky day though xD! wish i got a SoX again once, i never got any anymore on my warrior (77 atm) and my bower (81)
Had like 3-4 on my 72 int nuker before ^^
