I don't know if soe of you remember my last post when i made 3 +7's (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=105844) and i said i was feeling lucky to try +9, well, the shield got to +8 and i was very exited but when i tried +9 it failed and destroyed but anyways i wasnt that sad instead i was happy it got to +8 at least, i had a spare +7 shield to fool around with now i decide continue SP farming and some party mobs got me and when i died the shield +7 in my inventory dropped, i didnt had reverse return so i said all the curses and swearing i know.. Damn you Silkroad.

If you didnt go for +9, you would have shield right now, and you'd made topic:
Ohh!ohh! I dropped my +7 shield today after dying, but thats okay, I have another one in storage.!
Luckily, I've saved it and wasnt greedy to go for +9.!

Anyways i can't believe i dropped that +7 shield wtf. im more calm now.. but i would've prefer burn it in alchemy or something not dropped it :S

Yeah screw it, in not hurt anymore i'll just make another one. besides those +7's shields got to +7 in less than 20 elix each which were drops and only spend gold on the lucky's, so no gain and no lost technically.. but whatever im just amazed because it dropped i though there was a 5% chance or something, not my day i guess.

Just to clarify and seems like not much of you read before post. im wasn't hurt about failing +9 actually i got happy it got to +8 and gave me suspence trying +9, what hurt me was droping that shield when my char died to a pt mob and some lucky ***** around got it

I was grinding, yarkan spawned on me. Me being a lv74 Rogue using CE, I was killed in 1 hit. This was at 80cap. I lost my +5 crit22 100% FB daggers.

I feel your pain.

It's not that greedy, he had a +8 and a +7, he tried to go for the +9 and risked losing it since he still had a +7, greedy would of been trying to get the +7 up too, thats just bad luck that he lost it.


lol should he just keep it and do nothing? If you had a +8 and a +7 i'm sure you'd wanna sell it or try for higher too.

I read it. You dropped your +7 shield and your other one failed to +9 and was destroyed.
But c'mon. What do you want people to say? "I'm so sorry for you! You poor baby!" It sucks dropping something important, and I wish JM would fix it so that you can't drop anything equipped.

But with my reply earlier, I simply stated that the risk isn't worth it without immortal. So instead of losing just one shield, you ended up losing two shields. :|
