I have just tried a trade. Already outside of CS, we discovered a invis wizard following us. Of course we were prepared to get attacked by some thiefs.
The wiz was d8. One of the hunters relogd to his bot to kill that wiz (invis hack thingy).
Still 2 other d9 thiefs appeared. Not a big deal, just a really low trick.

But now the bigger part/question.

I tried to search the thieves on Rev6, but none of the aliases were found. Tried some random aliases i came across in HT too.
Then i tried some hunters. All the aliases showed the real players and their lvls.

Is this a bug on rev6, or is this just a stupid"on purpose action of them? Hide thiefs and show hunters/traders?

It might have been that the people recently changed to thief and rev6 didn't pick up on this yet. Mind you, rev6 is not joymax. It is a separate entity.

I first thought about it being new aliases indeed. But as i said i tried some random thieves in hotan, one of them was lvl 3 thief, and his alias wasn't found either, which made me wonder.

As long as the ladder bot and the thief are not present at the same time, there won't be any record. Not so hard to understand.

so you mean that these guys have never been in town while thief? There are plenty of rev6bot users in every town i guess.

Why do i find every trader/hunter alias but no thief. That is the point which confuses me

lol, job war is a designed part of the game just like "invis" skill is, "bot" and "invis hack thingy" are not.

level 90 (2 years in the making)
Killed several uniques
He has been a trader and a hunter.

Rev6 states =
Lv88
No uniques kill
No Alias

About the bot part, i agree 100%. He was gone before we could stop him.

if you mean thief alias in general, no that's not true. I can show you a lot of Thieves in Venus on rev6. Maybe there's something wrong with your server or MAYBE no one in your server uses "rev6"'s bot

hmm yeah that can be true. I'll try it again later, to see if it was a bug.

type the names right. but im a theif and i show up on rev6.

Not every job alias I ever look for on Rev6 shows up either. I'm pretty sure it's not a bug. They probably just never ran past a ladder bot.

I changed my hunter alias,rev6 still displays my old hunter alias...like 5-6 month old....

I've searched for many thief aliases (Troy) on rev6 and none of them have every showed up, but every hunter/trader alias I look up shows up.

Not all Rev6 bots are in towns. I've had my last message said while I was in the middle of Takla recorded on their site a few times.

The only thing I can think of:

Traders and hunters, when jobbing will almost always have to start or end in towns and stay there for quite some time. And since the ladder bot is in town, it makes sense that it has enought time/chances to record almost all their aliases. Thieves, on the other hand, are not required to stay in town that long. They just need to suit up and go out of town right away.

Other than that, I can't think of any explanations.
