Babel 0 banned

while every other server has atleast 35-50 ppl banned i havnt really played babel but r u guys really that legit??

Babel is an experiment server for Joymax.

35-50 lol r u joking me? they r prolly spammers so now u have to waste another 20min to block them all again.

bot bans are a joke on every server.

as in for me at 7x, i dont even feel goldbots getting banned, because joymax doesnt ban players above 50, well FEW only, theres like 85, 73,45,32 and the rest below 20 goldbots
if it would be like at least 7x banned, then u would feel it

lol im serious check the 1st 2 rows of bot bans, all servers except babel hve 35-50 bans

do u actually block em i just use pt or guild channels y waste time blocking wen thres i more every other day and 5 more every week?

I'd rather they didnt ban the spammers so you didnt have to block them each week. Its not too much hassle, but its annoying when they are just spamming the same thing. Why ban something that just comes back 10mins later spamming the same shit?

Though i wish every server was like Babel. I would love to have a bot-free server... Obviously not even spam bots on babel, would be like heaven!

Honestly, if joymax cared...

Have 1 person go through the servers, and tele to each town banning all the spammers..Wouldnt take long to do, and would be awesome.


Chat restriction could be changed too, make it so if you say 4 things in a row quickly, you are restricted for 10 seconds...Again in the same login session, 15 seconds....20, 25, etc.

Yes, WoW has a bot called Glider. Very rare to see people using it though, the ones that do wind up getting banned before they can start the bot.

Also, is this battletoads?

But they could log all transactions.

I doubt non gold buyers sell their special universal pills for 100 mill, even though they are special.

AFAIK they couldn't. Thus resulting in numerous people getting banned unnecessarily.

Now I'm not advocating gold buying. It's wrong. But I don't see a decent way for them to be able to stop it.

As far as I know, gold companies run gold bot, then transfer all the gold from the bots to a main account. From then they distribute it to customers. If the gold bot accounts were discovered, and and allowed to exist, then the gold was traced. It could be done. Enough people buy gold fine themselves banned right after they buy that shiney assed item, they’ll stop.

Or they could ban everyone with 2 BIL plus. Seems fair enough, then people would HAVE to trade for suns rather than getting scammed. AND the goldbot accounts would be banned... but... one thing would have to happen first:

it's so hard to see 100k connection same time from the same small ip range ....
And it's so hard to build a statistic table from the used ip-s and game times.
Maybe it would even take a day or 2 to ban all the goldbots ....

i just wish that before they can come up with some smart program to weed bots and gold sellers/buyers, the GMs should really visit and tour every server regularly. spending like 1hr on every server each week is not really too much to expect. and the recent bot bans only involved the spam bots, people should learn to appreciate banning of gold bots. that at least could free the server up for quite many hours before they get crowded again. and the new gold bots have to start all over again from jangan, giving most players a better chance in training at their newly freed spots.

Gold company used ip-s should be pretty close to each other.
30 client on 1 ip / 30 client on the next ip ... they run 24/7 ...
So hard to detect .....
Oh and all of those 30 client loaded ip-s have the same first 6 digits ...
Damn have to turn of the server console not to see them ....

That was never jm-s intention.
They out to make the biggest profit possible, can't blame them for that, would do the same.

If you want an mmo bot free make the game box set only with it's own controller interface
make ppl pay 100$ for it and 25$ monthly fee. Use hardware 128 bit rsa encryption for client
and server communication. Good luck creating a bot for that, cheaper to hire someone to come
and play it all day.
