Too late to start playing SRO??

Hiya..

Well I just got into SRO and I was wondering if its worth playing SRO as a first timer.
I'm just curious because this MMO is already 2+ years old and other MMO's might be comming out thats better than this one.
And I heard it takes a year to hit the lvl cap with a Chinese character so I hope the game wont be old by then :banghead:

I'm also looking for a server to join that would like to help me out since I'm new and well... I dont know anybody.

Ok last question is what characters are top at PvP? I heard Euro's are better at PvP but I kinda want to go with a Chinese Blader, any advice on that?

Ok thanks for any replys!! :D

Go in a new recently open server...

Never too late to start a good mmorpg...

Make a Locke/Bard ... so good build... Locke/Cleric too, but more commom.

A S/S chinese Nuker is always a good choice either.

truthfully if you dont want the 1 year grind time you could join fembria and you will cap in under a month easily

community is nice a lot less botters than in isro, gms are active and host events frequently

Ok I'm playing on Phoenix, and I'm making a Chinese Blader, anyone on Phoenix can help me out or invite me to a guild??
Its kinda empty on that server, no one world chats or anything.

Well I go lvl my blader now :P

ouch...good luck. Just remember, it'll take a lot longer with a blader than a nuker. Now I'm not trying to be negative, but if you look at it as something you do to relax and enjoy...

You can PvP at most any level, there's just less of it. Jobbing, on the other hand, you'll probably want to stay trader until 40...get into an active legit guild, and remember the journey, not the destination.

Some of the things I did (and I'm still doing)

took screenshots while I leveled, tried hitting manyangs for high damage, did trade runs, thief runs, hunter runs, went underwater from Jangan East Ferry and opened a monster scroll with some friends. (That was a lot of fun!) I got in parties with people I didn't know, talked to Germans, Turkish, French, Canadians (EH!) and more. I like helping people out, so I got in cave parties to help them level (I was 72, they were all low 60's). Do quests with your friends too, like Capt. Ivy. Oh, and helps to reminisce so you can see your progress....walking through ishades now, it's like "Man, I remember when we all kept dying to these things at level 44!" Getting your first million gold after saving up...etc, etc

Those are the keys to enjoying this type of game. If you look at it that way, and don't worry about rushing to the cap just so you can hang out at DW south or Sam south PvPing, it'll be more enjoyable.

(Your mileage may vary)

Ha ok thanks,
I just want to be in a legit guild, so I can have fun with other players and not just myself.

Any way I can lvl fast or SP Farm really fast?
I heard it takes months to SP farm, that scares me :banghead:

If you're looking for a legit active guild, you can join the legit union which is forming. If you plan on staying on this server for long pm me ingame - DonBebek, I can join you up to Synergy. Glory is also recruiting new players and you can ask Cuchi if they accept low level chin, I don't know. If you ask me I'll accept you so long if you stay active

Fast way to farm sp is Go to Ong, And Blood Ongs, Under Samarkand and get in a party with a high level (you must be 15+ level) And pay him for power level and be on a 9 gap and just farm

Its ok I'm just asking for advices.

Anyways shoudl I go:

100 Bicheon/100 Fire/100 Light

or

100 Bicheon/100 Fire/100 Cold

For the 100 cap?

I heard light is useless for speed cause of the euro buffs, but I dunno.

Bladers if played right can lvl super fast.

And I'd go Bicheon/Fire/Ice, as Light doesn't give you a whole lot advantage.

Also to be completely honest with you Phoenix is not the right choice. Join Venus if you are willing to play after actual legit rules.

make a 2nd character ... pure int ... alternate between the 2. it does help to prevent getting bored of leveling/farming the same character.

not really, best time tbh...

a lot of new servers = less player bots to screw around w/ u

just sign up in new servers to find ppl ur lvl & gear ur lvl in stalls or if u wanna become a legend in it, XD

or go to the old 1s for super inflated economies w/o ppl selling gears ur lvl while u lvl up
