First, go to the card's website and active/register it however. Then, go to paypal.com and create paypal account if you haven't done so, if you have, go attach gift debit card to the paypal account and then go buy the silk through paypal purchase method.

if your buying it online best bet is to use it in a store buying something cheap to activate it, usually its best to purchase one from a bank due to them pre-activating it saving alot of hassle, visa and mastercard gifts card work for buying silk 100%.

Once you've registered the card online, you have to wait for a few hours before using it on paypal because it won't go through right away. If you try to charge it right after registering, paypal will charge you $1 if it fails, or something like that.

So if you have a $50 gift card and it doesn't go through, they'll take a dollar away, which leaves you $49. And if you were planning to use all $50 to buy silk then you're pretty much screwed since you won't get the extra bonus silk. You'll have to charge $30, then $10, then $5, with an extra $4 on the card.

Happened to me once. Learned my lesson.

Shit.

They take $1 out if you register a new card, however, that gets refunded in a week. Happened to me several times before. Just wait a week and you'll get it back lol.
