There is a gold bot on Tibet server at penons that auto invites people to a exp share party, ive been getting plvled with him for 2 days now lol.

and if u invite him to a exp share party he will accept so u have control of the party.

any other servers got this?

edit. im the party leader and i got some turk to pay 200k p/h for this gold bot to plvl him. Making money on gold bots ftw

Happens every now and than. It's prob more of an idiot forgetting to reset his bot than actually meaning to help out. My friends told me about it at snipers, penons, and yetis. Sometimes if they come back though, they will find u and start luring mobs to get back at you lol. Happened to me once. Some bot invited me in hotan, lvl 80. I followed him out to snipers, and i told all my friends to come. After like 4 hours he came back. I noticed him stopping and starting to only hit mobs with 1 hit. Than he ran up to where we were and returned scrolls. Yay for not being afk. Was still funny getting free lvling from a bot.

It's basically kinda like how some bots are using low lvl imbues or attacks. Some ppl don't really know how to set their bots. Pretty funny when it happens.

Same on redsea.

There are many of them, all of them are pure str warriors. level 61's are at mugiji, level 64 at Iceshades/hashades and 68's are at yeti.

They work on exp-auto-share but item free-for-all. They can easily handle the party mobs and The gold bots get all the drops but they will only accept your party invitation if you have party set as exp-auto-share but item free-for-all as previously stated.

For ppl level 3x,4x and 5x its a bit of a situation, try to fight at mobs your level being ksed by the gold bots or say fk that and let the gold bots level them...

hardly a grey area for "venusians" although I am not a horse with my blinds on and I say fk em! (fk the gold bots not the venusians lol)

Its funny acutally ...hes telling the truth though... just the other day i was on my lvl 49 warrior and a warrior bot invited me to his pt but i canceled before i relized it was auto share...then another came through lvl 68 and invited me...so i joined and got some free plvl at yetis ^^ it was pretty cool and it was a goldbot cause his name was OBJUfSHY or something like that

There are a couple of them on Eos, some union members look for them and use them to level up. I got it myself too a couple of times, an invitation to an autoshare party while I was in Hotan.

Another trick is to stay in the party after the catch the flag, yesterday a level 90 bot using player didn't leave that party when he restarted grinding.....

I couldn't resist the temptation to stay with that level 90, more for his reaction when he found out, but I logged off before he noticed something was wrong.

@Azilius Meh, bot powerleveling is just as bad.

I agree man but adopt the saying "walk a mile in my shoes". Imagine you were level 4x and are trying to actually handgrind at mugiji. It is impossible.

I do not commend it nor do I oppose it.

Also the exp you gain is similar to what you would gain actually leveling yourself... it is not AWESOME exp so its not some huge advantage.

If you were in my guild right now you'd be kicked straight away, just for getting p-lvled by a bot.

It doesn't mean you can accept them into our "World of SILKROAD" though, does it?

Hell yeah, I was playing Oasis before Venus and I was just against plvling and taxis back then as I am now. Basically ruined the party system with plvling and the inevitable taxis that soon came after. I can remember when you could hang out at the pvp spots and not be spammed with PMs from some random player you've never met to level them. Can also remember a time when you could recruit low level players into your guild/union and not have them beg you constantly to level them even after you've told them you wouldn't. Level yourself, it's not that hard.

^The problem is that if you're low lvl, noone wants to speak with you, noone wants to hang around with you, and noone will party with you, because everyone is rushing towards the cap.
So you'll be bored of solo grinding, and will ask for powerleveling.

I don't find that too annoying, if someone pm's me for plvl I just give them a simple, blunt no and they usually get the point. For guild members, why would you keep those people in your guild? I personally love the new party system, powerfarming is awesome, and it was nice because we were able to get some friends of ours caught up with us really fast, so that we could all play together.

I don't think it's the person running the goldbot actually thinking, "Wow! Today I think I'll be generous and help out the Silkroad Online community!" I think it's more or less an error on the person's end.

Please, don't bunch me with the stereotypical person that has "Venus" in their location field.

I personally could care less about taxis. I don't join 'em, or run 'em, and don't care about other players' choices. I play the game how I like to play and that's all that matters to me.

Alright your right, it wasn't right to group you guys ALL together, but there is a large population of Venus players who are way too proud of themselves.
