Lol. I got banned for botting!? Im playing a week and only got lvl 22, didnt buy gold and neither did I bot. I modified my PK2 with a new userbar but that isnt it or :S? I think its pretty stupid from Joymax, rather than going for the high lvl sosun botters, they ban a lvl 22 blader who saved up for a guild ? >_>

I guess it's the pk2 editting since it is against the ToS...Or perhaps a loader (not saying you used one). Sucks anyway >.<

Thats what I think too. I didnt use a loader, Im way to scared to modify anything besides pk2 since thats the only thing I can do for sure. BTW Uranus doesnt need a no-dc client anyways :o

considering u have probably been playing sro since 2006...that account u got there either has some history or ur just unlucky.

if it was only lvl 22, you will get over it..

not like you got to lvl 90 ff or so

Haha, I had around 5 80FF all from friends and one myself but I stopped playing. It was only 22 I know nothing much to cry over, but its about Joymax being jerks again. Also the account was amde only 2 weeks ago :O

My alternate character got banned on a pk2 edited client, every other character without silk on a normal client has NOT been banned. Take that info as you like.

Make a new account, level 22 is achievable in just a few hours.

It is impossible to detect a pk2 modification. Unless you do something really stupid and try and modify where npc's are 'spawned' or something.

Simply editing your underbar or weapons will never be noticed by GM. Simply because it's impossible.


Anyone who got banned and who thinks it's related to pk2 .. is just terribly unlucky.

Well I can assure you I'm legit =\ It's happened twice now..Once to me and once to my guildie and I'm 100% sure he's legit as well. It's the korean edit that allows you to swear and gets rid of the 'f u' and other annoying things.

You mean abusefilter.txt edit .. or the one where you actually changed the font ?

The edit from 'English' to 'Korean' and adding a single null byte to balance it.

Yeah thats it, it changed the font, underbar, hp & mp bar and more.. well I learned from my mistakes =d Only thing that makes me actually angry, is that I wont be able to use the name again >_> RIP TuanQuan q_q

Maybe changing it to Korean sends different messages to the server.

or the fact they see u hav found a way around the abuse filter....

not the pk2 editing. just u bypassed the filter
