It works almost like a pet.. (assuming) when the 28 days are up the 'awaken' period is unusable (for transformation, the buff basically) leaving you to wear the item and keep the passive 24/7.

the good thing about it, people can`t abuse it if they relog, I tried just to be sure. the cooldown stays even after relog.

You buy multiple ones to 'reuse' the buff. It can be abused.

Just because you unequip one and place another one on, that doesn’t mean the cooldown goes away. I cant imagine someone would waste money to find out.

I'm pretty sure some of the biggest players (mostly the biggest assholes and botters/goldbuyers etc too) will buy that since they got more than enough money.
