install to the current sro folder? cuz i dled it into a new separate folder. should i just replace the current client (under the current folder)?

You can replace it. Just make sure you back up your screen shots, just in case.

Has anyone done this yet?

It is asking me to delete and reinstall previous version (ver 1.65 i guess). Did you guys get that also?

I didn't save it to the sro folder when I DLed it.

just double click it, it will ask to uninstall the current and dl the new version, its not really "updating" the client, more like installing a new one updated for 1.170
