so I decided to try out a pure str rogue/warlock, I figured Xbow for range attacks and grinding and then use warlock/daggers for pvp

the way I looked at it is once all the debuffs are on a player pull out daggers and with prick anyone would be a 1 hit (unless a block )

for me pvp and jobbing are the biggest things in this game so thats what im most concerned about.

Totally destroys any chinese in 1v1, average against euros with holy spell, probably worse than rogue/cleric in groups unless they fix advanced reflect.

well on my server I have never seen even 1, if they're an str they're a warrior/warock and there are a few warlock/bard warlock/clerics but not one rogue/warlock (above lvl 85)

Warrior is better IMO...Better tank if something fails.

But if you like to pvp/job..I don't think you'll like 1hitting anything around you because that's not real pvp. But that's just my opinion...I like to pvp, and I can use a friends warrior/lock and it pwns but when you use lock it's kinda boring.

Thats very comon build, and its awesome against chinese. But against cleric not so good.

Warrior/warlock is better, if they have holyword or puri pills, it completely destroys your sub, also you cant tank for shit unless they have impotent, and if they have holyword then you cant cast impotent on them anyway, as was already said, its a beast in 1v1, but in groups, its not great, best you can do is sleep a few people and hope they dont wake up till your done with them 1 by 1.

Since most people suck at PvP..I just pop out fire wall or ice wall against them so their debuffs do nothing then when they switch to xbow with xbow extreme I cancel the wall and phantom towards them for a 2 hit kill. Works just about every time unless they get lucky.

dont see really how well that would work unless they are stupid enough to turn on xbow extreme, the second you take down the ice wall, back to warlock rod for the stun, then trap and sleep, they should have you stunned and debuffed well before you can take off 26k hp, personally I would use a low dagger skill and when you drop the shield use prick next for the 20-30k hit

I don't die against a rogue without desperate/extreme on (in most cases) so I could just stay in firewall and sit there. Once they realize that they usually go as far as possible and turn on extreme and fire away. In the middle of a skill you cancel -> phantom -> 2 hit or if you're bow just lay on the ranged hits. Works just about every time unless they get a lucky shield swap and block or spam vigors like crazy. Special pill bug also destroys debuffs. This is according to Greece PvP so, it will vary per server

That's why a friend maxed his DoTs on his warrior/lock...Just DoT the wall and run away waiting for it to end and boom...One dead Chinese char : )

They cant kill you with desperate ??? What noobs do you pvp lol ? I kill glavier with 3-4 sun parts with dagger too easy. Evry rogue with +5 daggers can kill with desperate. Having problem tanking his sun weapon, must constant have healing orbit on me.

Not really. STR means you can probably tank with stun/vampires. Don't need to use rogue, just warlock. Or use rogue with CE if you have some people that can ress you.

its aight i guess but at higher lvl pvp 80-90 youll have a hard time..cause people can do walls/special pills etc... so yea

They fixed walls I think. At least, for a little bit. On Olympus. Im not crazy.

They did...At least for a bit. A couple weeks ago. I don't know if it was a bug then or something, but I'm sure it worked.

Lol...I'm not wrong, and I'm talking about the fire wall, which gets 'destroyed' by DoT's since they do magical damage and the fire wall absorbs magical damage. D'oh

You should make a light armor cleric/bard
I don't see many people with that build and it's really good if you use it right.

You can tank, but what can you really cast on the other party? Assuming its a real party vs a real party. Each side has its cleric(str or int w/e it may be) that'll cure it off.. the only thing you could really do would be run around and xbow them or stun.

Again garbage in party play unless the other team just gets slaughtered and ends up in reverse mostly then debuffing would be possible.

If its real party vs party then your party should hit the cleric. Panic, when holy word is done all the debuffs.

Wow I didn't know that was a common build.

A friend of mine had it and I flamed him pretty hard when he told me about it xD

My point was: Rogues are ment to get in, kill, and get out...nothing more...nothing less...or atleast if they don't like sneaking around much they get cleric which will help them through most long battles...since as a rogue they already do good damage.

But as a warlock...by the time you cast your debuffs and switch to daggers you'll receive your first couple of attacks before you can do a thing...and as a rogue...you don't want to be the one receiving the first couple of attacks....unless you stun/sleep (and pray to God for no resist) + debuffs + stun/sleep again (and pray to God for no resist) + switch to daggers and hit...ionno...would be like a 50/50 chance..but again as a rogue you don't need 50/50 chances you're meant to be sneaky...leave 50/50 chances to warriors...just not worth the hassle imo.
