When I delete a character, am I able to reuse the name after it's done deleting?

After you delete it you can. I think. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Im fairly sure you cannot reuse a name, even after the character has been deleted. I think i tried this once and was unable too, but i could be mistaken.

You can't use Guild name / Character name after it's been either Disband or Deleted.

you wanna try it out? look at the bot bans and try to use thier names. if you cant then you cant reuse a deleted character. if you can then tadah you can.

You cant. I deleted a char and wanted to remake with the same name on same ID/PW
didnt work.

Nope, doesn't work....I'm already deleting another char on my BF's acc...in 2 days i'll find out if i can use then name on my acc. I don't wanna wait tho!!!! -.-

no you can't

I'm 100% sure.

i deleted a char because i fcked up the build and tried using the same name.. and i couldn't

so yeah you can't reused an already made name regardless if its deleted or not(obviously)

EDIT: this was attempted as recent as two months ago

Your account is only blocked.
=>When you charge back and you got banned then unban,you char is still there.
=>Remember when Rev6 talk about the player unbanned,they still playing their char.

Ive done it in the past you can do it.

Yes it might work if the char doesnt belong to any guild and his friends list is empty. In thi way the char to be deleted doesnt leave any trails behind.
But if:
-you sent one mail with this char and the mail is still in the recipient mailbox
-or if your name is still in thievies/hunters/traders list or academy list,
then it wouldnt be a perfect delete of your char so you cant reuse his name.

You can in ecSRO. Every other silkroad version that have European expansion like iSRO you cant.

wrong. my friends account was hacked and he disband our nooby/storage guild, a few weeks later i decided to remake it and it did let me. lvl 2 atm

before euro updated i had a chinese glaiver "Ayoki"
I clicked on >delete< 8 days before the initial update
On the day of the update I created her anew - as a wiz

therefore I conclude it does work


additionally, I have a friend who used to have a blader - until he deleted it. Someone recreated the char with the same name and scammed friends of us. So that worked too - was at 70cap though

When a char is banned, it is not deleted - a deleted char is being removed from the guild it was in - but a banned one stays in it until kicked. So one can conclude banned chars are not being deleted and therefore cannot be remade.

i know of 2 specific incidents where names have been reused. ive used the name 5P33D_D3M0N twice on xian, but it takes a very long time for names to reset. i do not know how long u have to wait to reuse names though. my guess is that they whipe the servers of names of deleted characters every time a major update occurs. which basically means next inspection u might b able to pull it off if.

ive made a guild with the name of TiGeR_SHaRkS three times on the same server with the same leader, never tried a character tho.

No you can't reuse the name. I've deleted several characters and tried to use the same name but it said it was "invalid".
Now, you can use the same character name on a DIFFERENT server.

I've done it before very long ago but I don't know if it still works

Same. I know I've deleted and remade a char with the same name about 5 times now, same server, same name. I don't know if it's still possible to do so, it's been like 5 months since I've done it.
