How do Criticals work?

Can someone explain how criticals work to me like the whole Critical 13(+50%) thing, whats the highest critical number you can have and are criticals just what ever you would hit regularly but x2?

Critcals are your base phy dmg + 100%, I think, the critical rating on your weapon is the chance of critical over 100, eg; crit 15 means a 15/100 chance that your attack will crit, that is how I have always understood it, not sure if its completly correct though.

well I cant remember if its your base dmg *100 or *2, im fairly sure that the crit on your weapon is out of 100 however, NuclearSilo would be the person to ask about this I guess.

A crit is double your phy dmg (so what you would do without imbue if you're chinese times 2).

The highest crit depends on the weapon...It's different for weapons. And Chinese SoX weapons have a higher crit than Chinese non SoX weapons.

Ex: Sword has a lower Crit then Spear.
Because sword has a lower phy attack.

That theory is wrong.

Spear has a higher crit than glaive, but glaive has a higher Phy attack, so that makes your theory obsolete.

crits with swords and spears ftl. doesn't really matter unless you're a hybrid.

thats what i believe too. but sometimes when im using a glaive with 10 crit there are times that i get 2-3 crits in one attack (Chain Spear). just numerical luck i guess.

As far as I know, STR has no effect to crit, the only thing is that crit double the physical damage and not the magical damage... So crit is used by STR user... so the more STR you have, the more damage is doubled -_-
At least from my understanding...

As far as I know, STR has no effect to crit, the only thing is that crit double the physical damage and not the magical damage... So crit is used by STR user... so the more STR you have, the more damage is doubled -_-
At least from my understanding...

The more STR, the greater the crit. I am an int hybrid, so my crits make 1k more than my normal hits. So the STR is about how bigger the crit is.
