Phoenix- What it's really about

Unlike most new servers, there aren't any positive, good, and genuinly real "happy" recordings or guilds or people who come here. Usually, like this latest Eos thread, it's "Come".
...
That's it? Well, here is my journal of the last 3 days on Phoenix and why you should consider making this your home. Not to beat "the bots" to lvl 90 or to get fortwar; simply for the new environment, cool server name, and most of all- amazing people.
In the last 3 days, some of the most special memories I have about silkroad online were made on this server. Special thanks goes out to our main man and ultimate tanker Wolfy, Grape_Soda, and the awesome and dedicated, and most importantly FUN members of Divinity guild and soon, Odyssey Union <3!
Before making this post, the online members lined up before we all went to stall, find other parties, etc.. It's friday afternoon, we have lives you know!
Oh I remember 0 Hour. I was sooo shaked up when it said "Open and Easy" I mistyped the verification code 2 times. And when I got in, I felt German for an instant
I remember meeting a lot of the newbies at lvl 8 and 9, eventually we got up to partying- everyone was suprised anyone in their right mind would go Pure Cleric! ( Me )
As the morning hit and school called, I stepped back and admired Silkroad nature.
This here is my elite crew. The core of our entire guild. Grape, the pure bard, Wolf the only good tanker we have found, and myself the new cleric who was beginning to get the feel for it all- but I was afraid so I hid behind a tree. Lol!
After some intense grind we ended up at "the temple". Disorganized but we met up with Sonar, our future second bard in Divinity.
We thought we could handle soldiers. We were right; most fun I've had in weeks on silkroad, and now our lvl 20+ness was starting to feel good
Eventually we made it to closiers, found a nice hilly spot, and got to working when I noticed- wow, a full guild party! <3 you guys! Although I must say, LegitKiller is a "tat" aggressive, but he's a good warlock and loves to mess with the "Imperial" botting crew if they dare ks us.
Now, we went to CTF once. Just once. And it was the first encounter with what I like to call- Evil Avalon.
Morning time. Let's go to ongs gang! Off goes "THE LULZ BRIGADE!"
Odyssey? For real? Our first encounter with the legendary venus guild. This made me smile so much, he's a good 'lock too.
Intense Ong hill grinding. We gained so much exp when we discovered dances and luring with tankers- who know how to spam taunt. Great times!
We ran into the cheater-botter global spammers. Our Wolfy decided to PK Cuchi and we messed with them in general. Odd, the bots only watch us and then leave.. Ackward much?
I decided to take a look at China land. My first encounter with the chinese. Empty place; for now.
My PROUDEST SRO moment. Don't think a pure int cleric can tank? Think again. When we didn't have a tanker; I just HAD to step in. I admit tho, I was a "little" afraid if haven't notice
Encounter with a typical botter, Cold. He has no idea what hes doing; I understand more and more by the hour why Ava/BHA/etc dislike botters in their parties.
And finally, we're leveling up some of our lower wizards so we can move on to sungs. Good times before me, good times ahead. Day 3 has only just begun.
Thank you all in Odyssey union for coming, we REALLY hope we can all Union, stick around, and stick TOGETHER. We might not win levels or forts, but without a doubt every legit has more value and skill in their hands then 100 bots do; I know this for a fact!
It's not a competition, it's a game. Patience, fun, and friends.
