The State of SRA 
SRA took a year to create in full... So Ill tell you a story now, one full of intrigue and danger.

Over a year ago Fly and I started our little union site off of a blogger site we were using. Fly thought it was cheesy so we got a free host and a free forum and set up shop. I started adding all the SRO information/guides I had written or designed over the last year or so into it. Fly hand coded me a simple portal so I could keep my stuff organized and link it to our freebie forum. But then we started to get traffic. Then we got too much traffic and our little free hosting site shut us down. We waited till the end of the month and then moved to another free host. We lasted three days.

Well a guy we knew pretty well, THC, offered to let use his his hosting. I didnt know anything about websites then and when he asked us about the domain I was clueless. So he said he gets a few free domains with his hosting and what did we want to name it. SilkRoad Addiction was born.

Fast foward about a year and a half. SRA is probably the second biggest SRO forum out there and because our good friend's name is on the host he gets contacted by a representative from GameRiot to add our site to their network. I would have been thrilled if I had known about it. But THC (our friend) apparently didnt want to give up control of SRA. He never told me about it but I have the email they sent him.

So a month laster there is some random thread where THC and some others are just ripping on some poor 15 year old kid. It was originally a political debate, but it dissolved into a puddle of troll food. They had found his MySpace and his Facebook and were making fun of him quite personally. I closed the thread because the elections were over and I thought it was getting out of hand. THC decided he enjoyed ripping apart some kid and reopened the thread. I disagreed and to prevent it from going further, i deleted the thread.

THC did not agree with my decision and decided it was time to take SRA from me and show me who was boss (a quote from the fourth member of our little group). He changed the PW on the ftp site and locked us all out. I was mad at first, then sad about losing my site. Then I said, "Oh **** it" and made a new one. I enjoyed building it and dont mind doing it again. THC can have SRA. Dont ever let anyone have the domain to your website and dont bother building one up if you dont have a trustworthy partner in it. THC hardly lifted a finger for SRA in the two years I spent building it. Now it turns out he owns it and all my hard work. I hope I did it well enough to make it outlast me. I could stay and ask for my site back, but THC just wants too much ass kissing and I am not really good at being subordinate. I also know him well enough to know that he loves control too much to give it away. 

I leave it in his hands. I took the Confederation forum, the TopSite and a few other things that belonged to me. THC doesnt come to SRA very much so there is no telling how long it will take for him to notice that it is a shell of it's former self.

Im really sorry that it ended this way. I LOVED SRA. It was my pride and joy and cannibalizing it and starting over was hard for me to do at first. AcidicX asked for admin to oversee it while no one else is and I thought that was a reasonable request. I hope that THC keeps him on and keeps SRA legit. I doubt it but one can hope.

I just split this thread into two to remove the fat and irreverent posts from this topic. The splitted posts be found in the GD section. My response:

nightbloom, your post is ludicrous and totally laughable. It's full of half-truths, deceptions, and misinformation.

As nightbloom stated, we've known each other for a very very long time and each other's history pretty well, good and bad. At one point in time, when nightbloom wanted to run a site, it got shut down because of the tremendous load the website used even though it was very small. Free hosting services only allow small sites and very limited bandwidth. So she asked me for help and paying for a domain name and dedicated hosting since I guess she had no money, nor does Roman (Fly) because they both run Avalon as a full time job, from day to night, and therefore no income. So I helped them out, and I used my credit card to purchase her a domain name and hosting. Keep in mind I don't play Silkroad at all. I've spent a total of about $1800 in hosting bills and fees already to help keep Silkroad alive and the game community together, out of the kindness of my heart for game that I don't play as nightbloom stated.

All the donations goes to nightbloom's PayPal account. I already paid all the bills for her already, so I have no clue why she'd put all these ads all over the website and ask for donations to "help keep the site afloat". That is a half-truth. GameRiot did send an e-mail to me offering to buy and add SilkroadAddiction to their network, paying a large sum and also offering to pay all the bills. They wanted to use their huge corporate coffer to help make make SRA successful and use their corporate power to bring lots of taffic to the site. That would mean they have a say over the content. nightbloom, if you look at the date of the e-mail that was forwarded... It was sent in August 2008. Their request were delcined. I didn't believe in having a corporate entity controlling aspects of a site even though they offered a large sum. So I have no idea why this is even mention. So you think I should have accepted offer?

Another puddle of half-truths. That guy made retarded remarks and lied about a lot of things, and I was just pointing it. Many people, including Cruor, Mew, Merlyn, etc were all laughing at that guy for making obvious lies about his almighty bragging. Then nightbloom went to the thread telling people to flame her instead, and directly calling me and the people I just mentioned "a bunch of little kids" and locked the thread, even though flaming was allowed per forum rules. I unlocked the thread noting that flaming is allowed, and then she just deleted the whole thread, without it moving it to the Admin Lounge or Deleted section for discussion. That was very arrogant of her. She's always view herself as the almighty God who thinks everyone is her subjects.... so I just changed the password on the FTP to show her that she's not that powerful. I honestly don't know who she thinks she is calling other administrators names, including Cruor and I, who paid the bill.

You might think that she's this great caring person, but she isn't Many of what's she's known for is totally false and is nothing but a lie. There are times when nighbtloom guild members make fun of people dead's relative, and wishing to "piss on their grandmother's graves". Some of you may remember this. And she went in there and defended it even though many people acknowledge it went to far. So she thinks me calling someone is liar is worthy of locking the thread, while other people attacking a person's dead relatives is supposedly okay because guild members are treated specially. Anyways...

All I did was simply change the password and cease communications with with her for obvious reasons. I didn't speak to her after she deleted the topic, and now she made posts like she knows everything. I changed the pw since I was upset at her arrogance (it wasn't the first time she was power-hungry and thought she's all that). Nothing happened. I didn't take away her admin. I was just going to just tell her the FTP password in 2 or 3 weeks. If only she could have waited a little bit. I was being the better person... but nooooo.... not for nightbloom.


She views lot of people as her slaves to do her dirty work, creating all these features on SRA and throw a fit when it doesn't get done. Totally immature and a huge joke. In public, she works hard for present her self-image as someone who she is not. There are many occurences when she'd make a wrong statement or misspoke, and then instead of editing her posts or making a follow up post, she'd just moved the whole thread to the Deleted Section to protect her public image. 

Most of the forum features and designed were made by Crour, Beaver (who's no longer with us), and me. She doesn't know how to do anything much except posts news in the main portal site, run the guild, and make forum posts. nightbloom shouln't really give herself that much credit where it isn't deserve. SRA is built upon by many people of the community, not just herself. She's only famous because she's the "official" figurehead of the site. But apparently, she got over her head with powers and starting to ban a lot of people who dares to disagree with her. She used her administrator power to create a "Miserable Group". where she puts people in it whom she doesn't like or talk bad about her for being a hypocrite, that broken no rules. It makes people get errors or very slow page loading when browsing SRA and make it look real when it's not.

What on earth is that supposed to mean? Did you seem to forgot that you, nightbloom, were the one that destroyed Xian by botting on your nightbloom account and ran bunch of gold farmers? Everyone that plays in Xian knew who your goldbots were, and you babysitted your nightbloom char when botting even though you were physically handicapped and had to be confined to a chair. You have a large part of the blame for making Silkroad what it is. You gave your e-husband Fly a softmod account, and he botted and his main Fly account got banned in the Xian bot punishment lists. You were lucky you botted hardcore and didn't get banned. You moved to Persia and botted, and botted in every servers you went to. You don't bot now in Venus on your main nightbloom cleric char because it's a healer and it's very hard to bot a Euro Cleric, or else you'd take advantage of your free softmod account. However, but running goldbots doesn't make you any more legit than someone who bots on their main. Your reputation and everything is built on bunch of lies. I honestly don't know what to say about you, nightbloom. You disappoint me greatly. You are the biggest hypocrite of all time. 


Seeing that nightbloom and Fly already started a new site and paint me as this evil person, I guess they have no interest in SRA any longer.

I'll guess I will just shut down this website since I don't play this game any longer so I don't have to pay a huge monthly hosting fee for no reason. But however, this site doesn't belong to nightbloom, me, or any specific person. This site belongs to every member of SRA. A large portion of the content on this site wasn't created by nightbloom. 

So therefore it's up to the community to decide what they want to do (to keep it up or shut it down), and who they want as their new admin. Feel free to post in this topic with your suggestions

Also, since a lot of the site publicly owned content, including the wiki, were sabotaged and destroyed, which I spent countless hours to setup and create with the help of Cruor, whose content was contributed to by the the whole SRO community from all countries. If the community want, I will restore a backup of the site to a state that is 1-2 weeks ago to reverse the damage done by someone who wishes the community success. /sarcasm

finally i signed up an account here. the news is good. i used to play in nightbloom's same server and i do know that she bots. Fly got banned in the bot ban list for a reason. a lot of people know that she bot but she just watches her babysit her bot 24.

i have a couple of folks who used to be in avalon and current avalon members who told me nightbloom gave them free softmod accounts. when i first hear it from one person i thaught he was joking around, but then a lot of people in avalon say the same thing. now, an administrator of this forum who knows nightbloom well confirm it also.

also here's also a lot of posts of people who ALSO say the same thing.

nightbloom/fly... i demand to know why you are hypocrite botting yourself secrtly then .... giving out free softmod accounts for people to bot while calling yourself emperor of legit and banning people from formm who bot? u are drama queen. so since it's proven that nightbloom/fly bots, do they get the ban hammer like many others who bot?

i cant believe she even scam people out of their money. acid, she deserve what she got. she was cocky and thought she was goddess and called THC and Cruor names... its her fault she needs to apologize and give a huge explanation why she bots and distribute bots while leading a fake antibot campagin
