Hello to all you alchemy freaks out there.
wanted to ask how many stones it takes you usualy, on avarage, to get a crit 8+.
coz i bought myself a 80+7 bow yesterday, and used 60 chall stones on it so far.
never got the crit above 6, and assimilated mag, str, atack rat, block rat(parry) >.>
so, how much stones does it usualy take you xD?

tough question, I have unbelievable luck before like my lvl 80 weapon from a crit 2- 13 in 1 stone, then on my lvl 85 weapon it took me about 80-85 stones to go from a crit 5- 12, all depends on luck and whites are the hardest stat to change and crit or br being the toughest of all.

br is quite easily here

on my 85+7 bow i made a batch of 23 stones, 7 was the highest... then i made another batch, and then it went 2-10 (80%).

So 24 stones.

There is no average amount of stones. Its really a matter of each item and each stone. I have stuggled as you are with alchemy, and I have also used 3 stones to change a br from 10 to 18.

Well, I used 4 or 5 stones to make 10cr on a 85 bow (it had assimilated previously 4>8, but 8 wasn't enough for me )

60m on challenge stones (about 60 orso) to get c8 after assimilating to c2 on a 85+7 bow >_>

used 81 stones now, still never got over crit 6 >.> ffs...
it better go crit 12 when i reah 100

I had some odd experiences with crit...

Lv68 back at 80cap, try and make my daggers crit go above 10. 3 stones, it was 22. Lv72 daggers was 2 stones to 21.


Lv85 2H was 60 stones, highest was 7. It assimilated phy atk down from 41%.... I used like 10 courage stones, went from 22%->61%, and assimilated crit from 4->12.

It was awesome.

I spent over 500 mil on stones and still have shitty crit on my bow.. 6

w000t after a lil over 100 stones it went crit8, ill leave it there...
still need to fix str and a few other things though... BUT mag assimilated to 80%
(from 52% to 0% to 42% to 0% to 80%) XDDD

I hate making crt. Really hard, so far spend well over 150 stones on my xbow and crit didnt passed 14 . Friend made 18 crit on his xbow with about 100 stones.

After over 100 stones, my crit went crit 8.
and in 3 (10%) str stones, it assimilated again... what a joke

lol, got crit back up from 4 to 8 now, but assimilated mag this time >.> 80% >22%.

ill just leave the bow like this, i keep assimilating, cant make it perfect

Sometimes no assimilation, sometimes all the time assimilation...

Cap 80:
My old sword (72+7) went str 4 -> 5 in 1 stone!!, all blues were now +100%
My shield (72+7)on the other hand didn't go above str4... but i assimilated br from 14 -> 18 with str stones :p

Later, I got crit 15 on sun glavie (9d) with 2 stones ><
& If u don't believe, search my topic about sun drop (Yihaa, finally sun drop)

My brother never tries to change his crit, he always buys & cheap bow (with crit 8 or more), make full blue & never ever does his crit assimilate... it's incredible

Normal spear, crit 16 (+100%)
I have a lvl 3 spear with crit 16

...arr i though that my 114mill on my blade crit was the max that someone have ever spend,crit never went more than 8,so i tried another stone when it was 8 and...puff 8--->1!
so i said fack alchemy till lv 80 xD

19 crit stones on my 85+7 glaive end result was 12 started with 9.

sell it and buy another one lol
i use to spend 15-30 stones to get crit 8-10 on bows, never got any higher than 10

23 for crit 4 -> 6, never went higher then 6 so yeah screw alchemy ^^

Just keep trying, on my 72 bow at previuos cap 40 stones to get crit 8. On my 85 bow I got crit 10 at 3th stone after the 2 previuos failed (so first working stone was crit 5-->10).
