I'm not very experienced in SRO and don't play for very long and I was wondering:
are there like any 'famous' players in iSRO, by the terms of achieving something amazing or just playing damn good
If you know any just post here and if you have videos, put links

Well.. not really but, lots of people are known for having something / doing something.. like, SimplySimple on whatever server has a +9 sun sword with +7 sun set.. fly and nightbloom are xian peeps that moved to Venus when it opened and made it the biggest legit server.. mmm, aside from that.. making videos that include something new / special, vortex1337 made a lot of videos on his unique build warrior / rogue. VN_Warrior is very good at weapon switching, etcetc

No one. Most (if not all) of the 'famous' people are hypocrites in one way or another.

Old style hero's imo would be, Revje, Embodiment, DarkJackel, Death2All and BrownTyger, either for their skill in pvp or their contribitions to the sro comminity as a whole, as for new-age hero's I would probably say, VN_Warrior, Lightheart, AbelNox, GHooost, AnarChaos and Tonic_x for their out standing pvp prowess, this is purely my opion how ever, and some people may not have even heard of the people i'v listed.

Embodiment is famous, and his/her videos are the best Silkroad Online videos I have ever seen.

I`d say Embodiment,Revje,___JV___, Hydralisk, XMAT, MoTeC,Tears,Pookierawr...
Emdodiment,Revje,JV,Hydralisk,XMAT are well known for their videos on youtube. Most of them are strong opponents. Tears and Pookierawr are old school players from Babel, who gave me the inspiration to grind.. Tears was the strongest glavier on Babel back at 70 cap (But Jexx still managed him a good copmpetition...). Pookie was the first Dual Int who I met on Babel. He made a lot of awesome videos, and was a good person.

PS. Fly and nightbloom? Ehm... I dont want to offence someone, but why are they famous? Cuz they`re the most famous Legit players on Venus?

back at 70 cap on oasis madness owned everything pretty much and thats i put him up. oh and the fact he was my guild leader ^^

Def' have to agree about JV, cant belive I forgot him lol, and now I think about it, Fly, Nb and the rest of the first wave Avalon players deserve some reckontion in taking over an entire server, not to mention re-defining euro party play.
EDIT: Yes D2A may very well be a botter, hypocrite and full sunned bastard (not saying he is any of these things, I dont know the guy) but considering his extensive knowlage of sro's coding, I think he does deserve to be reckonized for that, even if he is a botting, hypocritical sunned up bastard.

It depends in what context you are talking about..

There are Famous people on every server you go on
However very few people are spoken about on servers they dont even play on. If you went by this rule then i would have to unwillingly say that SimplySimple is most famous in this day and age.

Of course then there are the oldschool players like Revje etc..

But seriously, i dont really think the Avalon lot can be called 'Famous'. They are only famous to their own servers and communitys.

There are lots of different "famous" people on all servers.
People who everybody either knows or have seen or heard of/about.
And just like in real life, some are good and some are bad.

There are definately famous people (or nicknames mostly) when it comes to jobbing.

all server got his story, the best player of olympus ,where on the begin of the server.

Addicts, tg_baron, tg_baronesse, aneyong, Laetita...

What i find interesting, is the famous Duos.
There are many on our server..

There were several legends on Troy that I remember, I honestly can't remember all of their names, but they existed at one point in time. Back during the 60 and 70 cap they were the best, back before bots were so extremely overwhelming.

As far as currently known, the entire Avalon Union on Venus is pretty well known. xP

nope. back in the 60 cap (when there was only 3 servers) everyone used Silkroad Tavern instead of SilkroadForums. I was the 2nd highest level that ever came to this forum. Only Phunky was higher level then me on srf.

As for nightbloom, she is a strong and smart chick who u dont want mad at you. The mods at Tavern pissed her off so she and DarkJackal led a campaign to destroy that forum, which worked and this is where everyone ended up after Tavern became a shithole.
