so i was planing to farm at the cap with my warrior/cleric with a 9 gap.. just b4 i realized thats practically impossible without SUN gear.
those lv 88 mobs rape the hell out of you if u try to grind there with the lv 77-81 gear, and was wearing robes specifically to tank these things). and being a warrior i always have to get in contact with the mobs, unlike xbowers for example. and its ofcourse far harder than using a chinese with a gap..
anyone had a similar experience?

Dont hunt rockys, not worth it to much stun, and if you are in HA yougona get owned, even in robe you have some decent set.

grinding on 85-87 mobs is hard too.. they are still 4-6 lvler above your gear. and they'll give crap sp cuz they're 3-5 lvls lower than you
at least the rockys are all lvl 88 so the sp is a little decent.. idk

If you were on Venus, Most people have farmed at 85-87 mobs, 0 gapped to 90 and not got any skills past 81 and then deleveled the mastery, and the farmed in party play with a ticket.

Suppose thats not going to happen on sparta, so i dont have much advice but, buy a ticket and GRIND!

yeah thats what im doing now...i got to 85 and delv my mastery to 76...gonna farm at chasers with a 8man pt its easy =P...thats the only way to farm...or do a 4 gap then or get sox gear

Farming Euros sucks.
You cant wear proper gear if you are 9 gapped.
Its either Ongs or a pain in the ass.

I believe that'd referring to my thread. You're probably right. But we're 3/4 friend who are farmed just to 80, so if we'd go to 90 we had to do that. But with just 4 of us it's more likely not going to happen, except we find someone when we'll be ready for that, lol. ^^

try party grinding. Otherwise.....solo chaser somewhere. It isn't impossible...just not easy =s

guess thats the only way.. im trying to complete a sos set currently, but not sure if thats any good
maybe i should just get a 5 gap? or would that take me an overall longer time to get farmed?

I faced the same problem with my Wizard/Cleric and decided to farm with gap 5. Since with lvl 80 skills i cant 1hit 87 mobs with fireball/frozen spear. Even with 84 skills sometimes my wolf needs to finish off the Wing tribe Attacker. cause you kill faster you get SP faster. An SP ticket also helps alot.

I don't see how grinding is hard as long as your not afk...I never die while grinding my wizard.. I have an 8d set +4 full pimped and I am grinding on lvl 85 / 87 Wing tribes. I use the cleric skill "recovery division" and it helps alot with my grinding. Grinding isn't impossible with euro.. sure its hard but its well worth it. Goto the first peak (Eye peak? Im not logged in atm got school soon) and go near the top. you have a good view of the mobs infront and behind and its not a far jog between mobs^^

Maybe you dont need gap at all. I never farmed with 9gap just few days with 5 gap and then saw its not worth it. I just go 0 gap with premium+ and with xbow extreme its so much faster than 9 gap without it.
My friend is 9 gap with premium+ and I get more sp then he is per day. But I use speed drugs and xbow extreme all the time.
When I started farming I had only xbow skills and even them wasnt maxed, now xbow dagger maxed and cleric lvl 80. Took me less of 1 month.

Well, if i can't find one.. there's a couple parties at roc mountain..

Eye peak ftw, you should be able to 1hit the mobs with daredevil, move to next mob.. turn rising --> triple swing, repeat for a month or so lol.
Save your bless and skins for giants, always use recovery division.. don't grind rocky's.

easy for u to say mr wizard! u never have to get close to these things!
i guess ill try the wing tribes for a while, if i failed ill just go with a 5 gap. hope ill find good parties more than once in the year :S

As gapping as a euro you gotta say in range of mobs that are going close to blue.(Basically antelopes or 85/87s if you have noise) You'll still get a decent amount of sp if they're almost blue, but still.. its better than anything else. Top it off your jewels are your saver. If you have shitty jewels that are like first teir.. you'll die easily. Getting good last teir+5 jewels will save you so much. I've done it.. jewels are important if you're trying to farm.

It's possible. I'd suggest not grinding with 2h except for on giants. I've never had much a problem with rockies in my LA Lv76~81 +4, and I've never had that much a problem. I use DA or 1h for regular mobs. Healing yourself before you're mobbed helps a lot also.

i only have "dual arms" and "sudden twist" farmed from the Axe tree
my 2 hander is pretty much too good to waste either.. nice crit and physy, 100% blues, +5, while i have a punny +3 DA
