we all know silkroad is based on REAL events.

now i know isyutaru and lord yarkan are not "real" but they are based on REAL things.

im trying to find out what they are based on so i can search up the history of some of the monsters. i know it may be difficult to find information but every creature must be based on some historical evidence.

if you can get me there names or some info of them, that would be great. otherwise ill keep searching

Well just by skimming through Wikipedia it turns out that Taklamakan and Karakoram are real places. All the chinese towns are actual towns situated along the Silk Road and Roc is a mythological beast from Persian lore.

The origins of Lord Yarkan is pretty elusive. The closes you can get so far are the Niya Kingdom, the Tarim Basin and the Yarkent County.

As for Isyutaru. The closest match I can get is Ishtar.

Jangan is based off of the chinese city Chang'an, IIRC. I do not like world studies, so someone else can look it up for me

Silkroad is real, most of the towns and cities are real. The Uniques are based on mythical creatures gods/godesses and whatnot back in the time.

Thanks for the links guys. I really like looking at this stuff. Shows Joymax has a bit of creativity* left in them. They actually researched and made up a whole game based on mythiological* creatures and history.
