Dont be greedy, +8 is enough really ...
But ... I used to say "Never leave weapon on +4, +6 or +9 - put astral on it and try for higher, if it fails, you still got the colour)

I don't see immortal on it =.= I have made 2 +7 w/o astral/immo but if trying to go higher then +7 i would add immo....the weapon has good luck if it +8 don't risk on destroying it

Oh well better luck next time. No guts no glory, staying at +6 or +8 is the most useless thing ever. Slight damage boost but who cares, your 1 away from the next "checkpoint". It's like saying I'm going to walk away with $16,000 on who wants to be a millionaire when $32,000 is the safe checkpoint.
