Hi. As you all know, Joymax wrote on oficial site that from now on, all players that are boting will get banned, and it doesn`t matter if they have silk or not. But, do they realy do that? To be honest, I don`t quite believe that. Why? Because, if we stay and think for a little, 50% of the players that are buying premium are boting(more or less...)...Let`s just make a simple calcule:Let`s say on each server, there are 500 players that buy premium every month(Believe me, there are even more, but lets say 500...)..This means, that from only one server, Joymax takes every month 500 X 20 = 10000 $...Ok, but silkroad have 32 servers, so every month, Joymax takes 10.000 $ X 32 = 320.000$. Believe it or not, they realy take that much money, and even more. Ok, but if we said 50% of players with premium are boting, if Joymax is going to ban them, this mean Joymax will loose 160.000$ every month. So just think about it for a little: Will joymax leave 160.000$ every month just to make "The Game Better"? Thx for having patient to read this, and feel free to coment about this subject...

What they wrote in that notice is already written somewhere else on their site from 2 years ago, no one should take that company seriously considering their habit of saying they will do something and then they don't. Don't get me wrong though I do think they will ban silk buyers if they catch them but they can't see the bot or something.

If you EVER believed they don't ban because you buy silk, then that's plain ignorant. My Scones account got banned for 'Punishment Description' and so have 2 accounts that don't even have characters on them. The Scones account had a 10K+ silk history ... if you been here for awhile you would know I kit all my accounts out with atleast a 10k silk history.


Anyways to the point, you will never be 'safe' as people who are being illegit will be banned either now or later. It's just like playing the lottery tbh.

haha.i think this is just for a short time.cose they bann players who buy silk and bot so kinda they cut their own money.and to be honest i think..if they will actually start to take seriously the bann issue then all sro will have like 20%-30% players...the legits .
so then how can joymax prospere?they r so rich that they can aford to ban so many? they don`t even put the [GM]`s active..at least 2h/day. but in a way i guess is all fault cause we just accept the situation.all the time when i tried to send a bug report r something always was error in page so i kinda got bored of it and i take the game how it is with some goods and more bads...but is the risk to play a game i love.

OK and I have a problem. Someone said that you can get banned if you use a clientless program, and doesn`t depend of buying silk or not. Is that true? and can someone tell me what clientless program means? For example, what is a clientless bot and give me an example...Thx

I think that is true but why do you need to know what the clientless program is? Are you afraid that you are using it?

Thank you. At least there is a few people on these forums that understand that they have banned silk buyers and will continue.

maybe they want to keep new servers clean but not babel, joymax wont risk losing money on their biggest cash cow.

Clientless bot.. best example is a goldbot. The way a clientless actually works is complictated and I dont fully understand it myself, so I wont go into details there, basicly if your using the same type of bot that goldbots run on, your going to get banned: case&point http://www.rev6.com/player.asp?id=79161 and his alt char http://www.rev6.com/player.asp?id=37127 both run on clientless, and yes he bought silk, those bans are some of the 1st bans that JM did since euro cap.
EDIT: Dont think that you can use other bots and buy silk and be safe, Joymax ban who they want to, i'v known people who have never bought silk in their life and have gotten to 90 fufa and not been banned, and I know people who use iSrobot and buy silk each month and who have been banned.

No, they've been banning, but not every silk buyer uses premium. Therefore for rev6 doesn't pick up premium when you go search for it. Not everyone uses a 'safe' bot. By 'safe' I mean that doesn't get easily detected and banned. So that's why you don't see people on rev6 with prem+, but I guess on the newer servers they probably went and checked for botters(Just a thought or they were just plain cheap and used a unsafe bot.)

mods, high post count ppl and low post count ppl are the same.. mods dont have super powers or high posters dont have bigger dicks.

i know people who have never bought silk and have botted thier chars in the high 70s and 80s they have never got banned? do u know why? they are smart.. they dont use some shitty clientless program or shitty bot

Everything u have said there is true

People who are truly addicted to this game will keep playing anyway, even if they are banned. People bot because they are addicted. People buy gold because they are addicted. If they get banned, a lot of people will charge back, use that money to buy more silk and start over again. If someone has spent hundreds of dollars on a game over many years do you think they will completely quit in an instant? I think not.

Guess i will be quitting soon then

Do you think if the ppl lose their money and don;t have the charge back option they will put more money in the game and play more to "revenge" the stupid game? Really?

I think Joymax should forget the past, start enforcing the rules now, and start with a 3 strike policy:
1. one week ban
2. one month ban
3. 100 year ban
I bet that most of the botters will quit botting, but continue to play the game as soon as the first people have received their week long ban. Most of them are just botting now because they can, and because they dislike being passed over by all these bots getting SUN equipment simply because they grind 8 times longer than legits.

When I see one of the botters who enjoys globaling direct challenges to JM "I bot JM, ban me if you dare" actually get banned, than i'll believe they mean what they say. Until than, we'll just see shitty bots and clientless ppl get banned ><

That's a pretty good idea. They won't lose the costumers by banning them for 100 years, most botter will quit botting and everyone will still buy at least premiums. Yes, it will be still unfair to the legits, but it's a good way to save the income and clear the game...

GoogleVsYahoo, you are right...but i still dont get it what clientless bot means, and witch of them are. for example lats say 3 bots: TBOT, ISRO BOT and AG BOT..wich of them is clientless and how safe is each of them.. hope youll answer me guys, thx

Why do you want to know "how safe each bot is?"

They might have banned a few more than normal, but the conclusion still remains that silk using bots have a low chance to get banned, if you disagree then i would love an explanation why there are about 200 or more capped bots on each server that have been botting for years but still not banned.

Rev6 shows about 600 capped chars average on older servers, but as you also probably know most bots have been botting so long without getting banned that they have multiple capped chars showing in those list, the 200 was just a minimum guess of real players behind all those listed chars.

Our server has a reasonable amount of legits left, but I agree: As long as I see Roc mountain swarming with high level bots I'm not going to take Joymax' threats to fix things very seriously.

none of them are clientless bots

clientless bot is a program that lets u log in.. lets say 40 Chars on one PC(this is what gold companies do) i think it does not show the game, only a tab at the bottom of ur screen.. i also dont know how they set it up if they cant see the game.. unless it is programed in to the clientless bot when they make a new char.. e.g levels up skills change traning place when this lvl.. ect..
it also logs u in to game... (does not show image code) because it is clientless.. it does not load up the client thats why u can log in as many chars as u want.

how do i know this? because i read 0x33 forums aswell

and about them 3 bots.. i think agbot is free so.. i dont think its that safe.... the other 2 are safe cause they have been going for 2-3years
