Well, I'm a lvl 22 Full STR Glavier following this guide. As the guide says I should at my lvl I am killing Chakjis, but I'm only getting 0.1% exp per kill and I consider it to be really low. I have 0gap so that's not the reason. What am I doing wrong? If that's the normal exp behavior, then I can't imagine getting to lvl 90

Chakjis are too low for you. Move up up devil bugs or the next higher mob. If you notice you get low xp, find the next mob.

i havent gone far with a chinese before but i would say try to grind on mobs higher than you, like devil ghost bugs or so. if its too much then i dunno what to say really, just grind it thru the cheekys till you get high enuf to grind on the bugs safely.

3 things chakjis are lvl 19-20 and ur 22 with 0 gap so go fight ghost-devil bugs and get out of the 8 person party which im assuming your in

8 person party lowers your exp if the other person your with isnt fighting i suggest getting into a 4 person party

1st. I'm not in a party of any kind

2nd. I thought (And I read in many guides) that it's best to kill mobs 2 lvls lower than you because you kill faster. I can kill higher, but it will take more time to kill those and they will hurt higher. Is it worth it?

Also, should it be alright for me to job at this lvl? If so, what job should I do? Thanks.

That is the normal exp behaviour for your level. If you think that's low it's only going to get worse. I remember getting .005% per kill 0 gapped at 90 with a ticket on 85-87 mobs (only mob with good spawn). Exp gets slowly worse along with with amount of bots per mob.

I just tested on Devil Bugs and I get the same 0.1% per kill. Well, I guess this game is not for me. I prefer certain little game I wont mention where I get 0.1% per kill at lvl 80, not 20...

Do it, before you get addicted and regreat later.

Quiting silkroad is always the best choice.

at 80+ will be 3 mobs to get 0.01 under gap 0.

0.1% => kill 1000 chackji to lvl but you whine
lvl 90 0.002% each kill
so i think you better quit the game

well, europeans are better about it cause they can get by without quests, but as chinese doing some of the quests makes the leveling alot faster cause xp rewards can give like 40% at that level. Chinese quest always give more then the european ones, but the euro quests are all really short compared to them.

But moving to a higher mob may or may not help, consider how many hits it takes to kill something. If you can kill a lvl 21 mobs in 3 hits, and a lvl 25 mob in 3 hits, i'd so go to the 25 one, as a glaiver you aren't easy to kill, and the extra damage the mob would deal wouldn't matter much expesially when your build has the 2nd highest hp in the game.

But honestly glaive is not fun, you gota find a fun build in order to want to keep leveling it, going to ctf is a good incentive to keep going, cause you get to test your hard work out every few hours in a good team battle. I couldn't bare glaive to lvl 20, it just felt wrong.

Pure int chinese may be more your style, only takes a few hours to lvl with out a ticket those lvls, means just lvl once a night till you get your upper 30's then maybe 2 every 3 days of playing.

others are trying to promote your quiting but you've only tried a single build, and honestly the community you're with helps alot, if you're all alone its no fun, but if you got a guild or just a few freinds you can make 4 man non exp share party, and talk while screw around with differnt builds till you get one you like.

if you go for a chinese nuker you'll be so excited to get to 30 and get your magic attacks, and then you can almost one or 2 shot mobs and aoe at the same time, put yourself in a good spawn point and let the aoe fly, you'll lvl pretty fast from 30 to 32 if you go to a certain kokoru spot, just north west of the west gate of samarakand there is a a few good spots. 2 and a half hours to lvl there with out quests, if you can keep up the kill rate.

its a fun game, and yes we all know the leveling can be kinda slow, but the point isn't to just be max level and being max level isn't supposed to happen over night either, its about having fun and hanging out in the mean time, which requires you to meet people though to truly enjoy it.

im level 80, get 0.01 per 3-4 antelopes at gap 4
i agree with foudre though, glaviers are a pain to level imo, boring.
Nukers/bowers are more fun (both get good around level 30, level 30 for a nuker, level 31 for a bower, where you get strongbow)
for euros you might like rogues (Crossbow) or a Wizzard.
they are faster to level and imo, more fun

Yes you are doing something wrong. Really.
I myself have a lvl 27 Wizard with Gap 7, which still gives me 0.01% per Ghost bug, which is lvl difference of 6.
Saying you have gap 0 it should be far more.

Well, thank you foudre, it was a really nice and well done post. Glavie is not the only thing I have tried. I tried a wizard/cleric at lvl 12 and didn't like it, also a Full STR Bower at lvl 14 but it also takes a lot to lvl it. You say an INT nuker? Which class and build would you suggest to lvl fast? I dont want to farm, it takes alot...

P.S.: What matters the most for me is to lvl fast (So to be really good at PvM). I don't care a lot about PvP, but it would be nice from time to time. However, I don't mind a class/build that can't pVP that well as far as it's good and fast at lvling. Also, it would be better if I don't have to farm and can go with a 0-2 gap

hmm some people use pure int bow/ light only when a new server opens and only get some of the skills so they can be the highest lvl the fastes.

But least farming needed would have to be a Bard, next would be warrior

Well, I don't like Euros, only bard, but I don't know how fast a only bard character would lvl.

Well, now there's something I don't know. As a battle bard, do I go full INT, full STR,or hybrid? if hybrid, which one?

Full Int as a battle bard, whatever you decide to do, this game is based on putting a lot of effort into leveling. So it's best you go Euro and join parties, that way leveling will become a lot more easier for you.
