New User Agreement?
After opening sro and dling the update the notice says there is a new user agreement required for all new accounts.
Any idea what this is for? I do not like to presume so anyone know some facts?

Just some legal issues, doesn't mean they're going to do anything
But hey, look at the bright side, next time you register an account it'll take another 5 clicks

Re: New User Agreement?
JM doesnt ban the high lvl botters cause they also buy silk, so they wont ban people that buy from them. The only botters they will ban are the ones that dont buy silk.

would they not already be able to, since those companies exsist as a violation to the user agreement already/ are hurting their profits, problem is who are you going to sue, if you don't know who they are?

Of course you know who they are. Money paid to gold companies, I assume, goes through paypal. Just give them a court order to reveal the bank account that pulls the money and you got yourself a person to sue.

Re: New User Agreement?
After today's weekly server inspection, new user has to agree with our user agreement to play silkroad online without any inconvenience
LOL, so this means that before the update you didn't have to agree with the rules?
SRO: "please agree with us"
Player: "nah"
SRO: "ok you don't have to agree but don't bot, rite? I know we can trust you"
Player: "sure u can trust me"
...
1 small step for players but 1 huge step for Joymax much?

what they need to do, is make a mini game required for registration can be like space invaders or a mini game of pick the colored boxes, make alot of them and make them very random, then automated acount wouldn't be able to be made, if the did the verification of the mini game right, it'd be easy and like 5 mins to the person but the gold bots would have to manually do it, or be set back months to make a way to bot thru each mini game since there would be lots.

months to find an automated system to do it for every game they'd add, they aren't going to take 11 hours to manually make 140 gold bot accounts, and they sure aren't spending 4 days to add 1k gold bots each weak, thats not going to get them anywhere, that would stop them dead in the water
