Do you think this is good or fair?
think of it this way
when you first join a lvl 2 guild to a union you have 12 union chats to divi out for 20 players
when you reach lvl 5 you still have 12 chats for 50 members

how can you keep a union active or a large guild if you dont have enough union chats to give

I never quite understood the reason behind that in all honesty. Its actually quite annoying when members cant even socialize with their union, kinda defeats the purpose.

It will defeat the purpose of the Union chat if it's increased.

one more thing to think about, some menbers leave the guild because they dont have union chat

I agree with you, i think they should increase the amount of union chat authority given per guild. Maybe 'up' it to 20 or 25 or something.

In my opinion, it should be increased to 18-20 per guild, especially in level 5 guilds with 50 members. I don't have union chat and sometimes it is sometimes frustrating when people who just joined a low level guild in my union have union chat and I don't. It is just more difficult to organize trades/parties without union chat

Originally it was planned to increase, they just messed up as usual.

Lvl 2 = 7
Lvl 3 = 8
Lvl 3 = 9
Lvl 4 = 10
Lvl 5 = 12


Or something like that.

actually i'd like to see it be as many as you like, how ever have the right to take it away, they didn't plan on unions acting more like larger guilds, instead of acting like allied guilds.

Maybe to prevent Spam? Let's say it's fortress day, from each guild theres 30 people on(5 guilds total), that'd be 150 people talking at the same time, i think it would be pretty messy.

that's why guild leaders have the power to take them away, don't see why there has to be a limit. It's like they give you this freedom and power to control your guild then go ... oh hey but you can't do this this this this.

should even have right to give some on grant name powers and war powers and other stuff besides being limited to me

Guild leader should be able to give it to whoever they want to, no limit.

I do see some sort of logic behind it now that i think of it.

It can be used as a reward and punishment system. For those who have been contributing more energy they can be given back what they receive, a "promotion" in the guild. Alternatively those have been misbehaving can have this power stripped away from them. Keeps the balance in motion

Well, would be a good idea if everybody could talk in union, but the Guildleader could take away this right from someone..

But if everyone has it, how do you gain a promotion in the guild? Union chat is used to separate the active form the inactive. Thats why there is a limit, i assume. To make group distinctions inside of the guild.

It's annoying if the number of actives is higher then the 12 chat limit, wish they put no limit

Union chat can become confusing if 10 people are writing at once, but more chat areas would destroy the social factor

in my opinion it isnt neccecery , just keep guild active and no1 will complain about union , Talk more in Guild chat insteed of Union . But ye still some members will complain they want union chat , there always will be that kind of ppl even u make Union chat upto 20-25 Other 25 ppl will complain .

We dont have problems with union chat. We are full 50/50 and nobody complaining, If they need something in union they ask me or any other online member with union chat and thats it. You just need to give union chat to active players.

i liked it better when only the guild leader could talk in union chat. now its just 10 year olds spamming my union chat all day talking about there pubes and what emo band they like the most.

I like it tbh.
It avoids those "plvl me" low levels from spamming up union chat. So only the guild leaders friends have union chat and he knows they wont do that.

problem is most of them use it to help find parties, though its easy enough to ask some one else to union it for you

I honestly didn't even know about that limit until now . . I was wondering why when I use to ask for uni chat the next day it'd be gone ;\
good to hear that it wasn't something I said lol, others just have senority or w/e
anyway, it should be increased to like 25 or something.

if every one had union chat.. it would be 400 ppl talking at once.... spam much?

Increase would be an nice thing it pisses me off that i can't have uni chat cuz the rest are busy!

it should include at least 60% of the maximum guild members.
