No i know you still need KSSN. The process isn't as difficult as it is with yahoo (Before). But the process is much easier. Main part is that Joymax actually did go through with going solo and not trying to stay in a contract with yahoo.

What didn't I get?
Instead of giving the publishing rights to another company, as Yahoo! dropped it for some reason, Joymax decided to take the rights instead, just like iSRO. Compared to how JM is handling iSRO, Yahoo! handled kSRO better. We'll have to wait for the changes in how they moderate this version, but chances are they'll treat it like iSRO.
And we know how JM is treating iSRO.

Before:
1.Register an account at korean yahoo with kssn
2.Register at korean sro page with yahoo username
3.Confirm data at korean sro page (street, phone#, etc.)
4. play
Now:
skip step 1. and do it right on the joymax page yay
everything else stays the same
now that made the whole process much easier didnt it?

no real point in going to ksro anyway except if you want to spend another little lifetime grinding to 100 until you can sometimes pvp or grind with koreans (better hope ur time zone fits)
the game is pretty much dead for them, which is (in my opinion) what isro will become once everyone realizes there isnt going to be anything new that actually makes the game better

Read sometimes in other version of sro area maybe ....
Lv6x/5x/4x/3x .. in ksro, but it's dead, 5 servers bot loaded and still in easy
maybe 100 ppl / server. it's so dead yahoo had no more interest in it.
new company making money from ingame commercial videos....
You can look at ksro like the beta test server to all other sro.
And yes registration is easy as sht. now / look for link in other forum part

Inactive there now, no1 left there who I know. Powerleveling is the only way to level
and they do that for gold / only a few is free.
Most koreans write some level of english, but you dead if asking them, have to be nice with them first.
They had the turk problem when most ppl went ksro / so they hate if anyone starts pls/please/10k/... u know.
...

Yes is so much easier to register now. And yes Joymax is no in charge of kSRO. But I guess is the Korean Joymax that was always sided with Yahoo before, except now alone.

This makes me sad in a way. Silkroad is the 2nd game that I've played online and is the 2nd game that has turned out the same, dead. So many good quality games just seem to die out and it frustrates me.

Eventually all online games die, even wow. If there just isnt enough to entertain players they will leave

What makes it worse is that Isro never reach anything close to it's potential. I think that is what makes it more frustrating than a game dying.

lol ever since cap 80 - 90 came... the game slowly drifted...
more grinding... less activity to do...
more reason to bot... less actual players have to put up with it...

+1 i think it is dying actually. The majority of the "new" accts are just people makin 2nd/3rd/etc accts. If you want to see a dead server, just login Venice. Its so dead lv90s are forced to rob lv 27 traders
