Wow don't you love how a game can bring in a school subject like math. some people really really oh did I say really take this to the heart.

all i know is that at lvl 150 a pure str = a shitload of hp

Rofl ... I actually enjoyed reading this topic ... how much maths has to do with everything ... but people are calculating too much ... hope this wont turn into Math again ...

Re: Over 90k HP without Bonus?
This thread has caused me to conclude this:
pinoyplaya= Stupid
Bakemaster & PR0METHEUS = Smart
pinoy, I'm in 10th grade and I'm taking calculus, you were (or still are?) in 12th and you're taking calc.
The idea that .999 repeating = 1 works if you have a certain mindset, and doesn't if you have another.
Prom is smart though to bring up the fact that 1/3 is indeed not equal to .333 (repeating), they're close, but they're not the same. .9999 repeating is the closest you can ever get to 1, but it's still not there.
So another one of my conclusions is that if you place finite and infinite numbers into the same pile, then .999=1. If you don't, then they're not the same.
[EDIT:] Also, @ pinoy, you were barking up the wrong tree for like half of this discussion, we already knew that .999 (not repeating) isn't equal to 1, the whole entire point of that discussion was if indeed .999 was repeating, would it equal 1? And I put a simple answer up before this edit.
Also, I realize this is a very old discussion, but I still had to say this.

Re: Over 90k HP without Bonus?
Ints nuke str's at 90 already for over 10k, so at lvl 150 that would be like 30-40k nukes?
But yeah, ressed topic ftl >.>

Re: Over 90k HP without Bonus?
First of all, Pure Ints will not deal 10k dmg at 150 cap. They deal more now, a good nuke will deal 12-13k. Which is approximately 44% of the Pure Str's max HP. And assuming at 150 cap Pure Str's will have approximately 96-97k HP, 44% of that is 42-43k.
Don't ask how I worked that out. I think weirdly.

How do you guys think this will go? I wonder if pure ints will finally take a fall at higher lvl when they can only hit around 10k max against pure str who will have over 100k hp after bonuses.
Thats one of the most stupid thing i´ve seen so far. a lvl 100 nuker do 25k~~ to a str char on ksro. And i dont think they will have 96k hp either.
lvl 90glaiver = 30k
lvl 100glaiver = 37k
so i dont think they will come up to 95k.

Good point. I see nothing wrong with ressing an old topic if you have something additional to say about it, at least if what you have to say hasn't been said 100 times in that thread already. Some threads are better left dead, but some are interesting threads that somehow people simply forgot about.

And how exactly did you get those numbers? Did you pull them outta your ass? LOL
Here's the correct amount:
A pure STR will have 117,762 HP naked at lvl 150
A pure INT will have 32,308 HP naked at lvl 150
How do I know? I reversed engineer the game and here is the computer source code algorithms that calculate the HP you have if you are a Pure build:
sHP = int(pow(1.02,(pbv-1))*((pbv-1)*4+20)*10);
I'll translate the code to human math so you can paste the formula in google.com and it will calculate the HP for you.
Instruction: Replace "THELEVEL" with 150 (or whatever) you want and you will get the HP amount naked at a specified level:
Paste this in google to calculate pure STR HP:
(1.02^(THELEVEL - 1))*((THELEVEL - 1)*4+20)*10)
Paste this in google to calculate pure INT HP:
(1.02^(THELEVEL - 1))*((THELEVEL - 1)*1+20)*10)
Test it out by plugging in test values and it's always right
You are a genius at math
