Razorhead wrote:They seriously farked up some of the spawning. Dead/Dark eye ghost in dead ravine... Used to be a shitload, now there's like 20 mobs in the entire ravine.. Flowers are messed up too
O.o I agree with the Flowers 33/34 having really bad spawns. All you have to do is find 1 spawn point and camp it. They respawn super fast. As for red eye/dark eye, those spawn a lot in the ravine, but there are so many people at those levels that not many are spawned to kill. I was on and there were a ton in the ravine. I made a party of 8 and we ran around getting pt mobs to kill the botting nukers and wiz's lol. Was kinda funny especially since they didn't seem to have it return them to town on death.
I was playing some more and got to 46 today. Quests are so good for leveling. I got so many levels by using the gold ticket with the 100% event lol.
I haven't even touched my beginner tickets haha. Yeah I got 42->43 with 100% buff on and doing CTF in between. Really easy to level. Wonder when does it really slow down though.. can't wait to do some fortress wars :3
If being a loser means not playing Silkroad all day.. lulwut?

I'm waiting for Gw2 honestly. I am only playing this to pass the time mostly now. btw, anyone know why every Stone that succeeds just stays at 0%? Is it a bug? I've had easily 30+ success's and they don't increase anything at all.

Bad luck. I got 4int on my sword and changed other stats.

I agree, William-CL. Stone drops have a tendency to not change anything. I've experienced the same at isro and other private servers. I guess that's just the way it is.
Oh, and Toshiharu, that's some nice amounts of sp you get there
Uniques in the Forgotten World drop this new item called Faded Bead. Basically, it works like an SP scroll - right click it and you get a random amount of SP. So far I've gotten between 200 and 3000 SP from one Bead. The small uniques drop one or two of those beads, whilst Elder dropped up to 4 of them at once (soloing in a 4/4 party). Though, it seems you need to be within 5 (or 6?) levels from the monster's level, otherwise they don't drop anything.
Didn't know they applied that low drop limit here too, it would be 5 levels max below you for the mob to drop them then.
So basically blue mobs Never drop anything other than alchemy materials.
Spoiler!
Since it seems it confuses some people, i will try to clarify, just hope that i don't confuse anyone more >_<
Anyway That is only one way system as the mobs +5 levels lower than you don't drop while mobs that are higher drop like normal (you can kill mobs 11-15 or even 20 levels higher than you and they will drop).
So:
Blue mobs don't drop items, anything valuable.
Green, White, Grey, Orange, Red drop like normal.
So in the first week in college i went with jeans and the pajama's shirt. Didn't notice what i was wearing till after i returned home.

It is 7 levels, not 5 levels. Here is the quote from the Joymax website:
- Items and gold are not dropped when the monster being hunted is 7 or more levels below the current level of the player’s character.
And if you're in a party, it has nothing to do with the average level. It simply depends on what lvl the guy is, who did most damage to the mob. So if you're in the forgotten world with a guy more than 7 levels above the unique, make sure he does not attack it

Do you really want to start comparising again?
And if you don't bother yourself with this game why post in GENERAL DISCUSSION of the forum of the game that you don't like?
Believe it or not, Not everyone got your same opinion.
i check in every once in a while cuz i have friends who play. to see whats new. and yea its a decent game. and it could be better. but that chance is long gone. its just a grind fest. so you guys actually like to grind for 5 hours straight and get 2%?

We're talking opinions here, and you can't really say that "there are so many better mmo's". Because, for some people, Silkroad is the best MMO. Also, it is not till the very late caps you get that little exp. I believe most people can agree that it would probably be best if they increased the rates even more. That being said, silkroad-r is still way better and faster than lvling at the normal Silkroad.

It got decreased twice:
First time it got decreased to 7 levels below the character level.
Then after 2 more weeks, it got decreased to 5 levels lower than the character level.
So basically in Isro it is now 5 levels below the character level, not 100% sure about Sro-R though as i didn't try it just yet. :o

Solo. Always solo. Sharing these beads is silly when they drop almost every time off a unique.. or they do. I'm not sure I've only done three runs. Takes me about an hour at most to finish with the final boss 15minutes tops. Final boss is boring though.

Funny they still haven't quite found the magic number.

Not that I don't believe you, but can you please tell me where it's written? I was searching the Silkroad website and could not find anything about the 5 levels you're talking about.

It says "mystery box item". I doubt it's for normal gold and items. A guy on Silkroad-R just tested it for me, and it's 7 levels there - apparently.
I remember firefinal1 saying it once that both Mystery boxes and item boxes are the same thing.
Well, if they aren't the same thing as you say, then what does Mystery boxes mean
Pretty sure that the items only drop at 5 levels lower at Isro, well they wouldn't have changed the level of the Tailsman mob in forgotten world (Whatever it is called) from 101 to 105 if it wasn't like this, would they?

I don't know mate. All I know is that at lvl 45, my friend still got a drop at Forgotten world at the 39 unique (silkroad-r), and at 46 he did not.
Just got 4k SP from a faded bead. screenshot to be added after I'm done soloing this And I just heard pinney got 8k from one lols so I guess I won't add it
Locar @ ecsro/fembria lvl 90/70 (got bored of sro, letting my chars rest for a long long long time)
Oh boy that's the worst. Just wondering with a group does the bead drop more than one? Because it seems like every unique will almost always drop it for me.
