I had been sitting around for a day hoping JM would fix the problem. I read the post about removing all JM lines from the host file and it WORKED!.

For all the guys who have this problem. Try it.

Windows 95/98/Me c:\windows\hosts

Windows NT/2000/XP Pro c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Windows XP Home c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Go to the above folder and open the hosts file with notepad. Clear out all lines that have Joymax in them. Make sure to paste those lines in another notepad and save it just incase. Save the original hosts file and try to open Silkroad. Good luck.

Mine just contains samples so theres nothing joymax related on it.

i just had that problem earlier. i opened sro website, and it seems to be alright now. the client is getting closing though when i get the server crowded message. did JM take out the nodc feature?

as far as i know they havent took it away

Go to your silkroad folder:

C:\Program Files\Silkroad

Then click the silkroad launcher (it should say underneath silkroad),

It should work

For those who have problem with the inspection message, here is the way to solve it all the time. In the hosts file, add this line:

121.128.133.11 silkroadonline.net

It will etablishes the connection between your PC and the official site. After that, it should work. Otherwise, go to the sro home page using IE or FireFox and press F5 (refresh)
