Yes, yes... Im from Washington State, the birthplace of political correctness. That's prolly why I laugh in the face of PCness. Just because a subject is touchy or charged doesnt mean we cant poke at it. Comedy smooths the rough edges off hurtful issues which is why racism, relationships and politics are the target of most comedians.

Everyone can laugh at themselves. I can laugh at you if you cant laugh at yourself. Either way, someone is gonna laugh and that really never hurt anyone.

I agree that political correctness is just down right silly ( I don't even know why you brought that up ), I agree that you should be able to laugh at pretty much everything in life. However I disagree with people thrusting their opinions onto others, thats where the smacking comes from.

Its hard to be attached when you have several ancestories, and you don't even know all of them, all i really know is my fathers side were scotts/ su and cherokee, and my mothers were german/ english, my fathers side of the family has been in this country since before the french idian wars (the scottish part, duh the su were already here). You claim you heritage to give you a sense of belonging but thats because you know it well, how the hell am i supposed to when i have a several lines in me, although i do predominately appear scottish i even have a red beard its easier for you people to know your family past, although i know mine half way decentinly too many heritages to claim just one. Although if you look at since our family name has been in this land, our family has served in every war since the french idian wars, we fought for the south in the civil war (although i can't say i'm proud of the fact), we even had a battleship named after us http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Bunch (sadly the ship no longer exsist, and every single generation has had at least one man serving in the military. Now that i think about it thats a good sense of belonging to me, its where came from screw you euro trash thinking your better then us cause your country is older.
