I suppose after a notice like that they're going to have to provide some list, but i wouldn't get my hopes up. I agree with sama98b, the list will either be populated with fake accounts or those that are no longer being used. Just like the bot lists back in late 2006, filled with fake names or of accounts that never even got banned.

Hopefully, they are going to ban anyone with a modded client or modded .pk2 files.

OT: Massive bot ban sounds like a great idea, maybe we're getting a new update. Hopefully this prevention system will be like the Euro one, and they're probably inspired by Odin Venus and Hera.

No, but they both give the user an unfair advantage, as does a bot. No D/c gives a person an advantage over others logging in. Pk2 gives an advantage seeing you can make invisible wizzies and rogues visible. It may not be botting, but it's still cheating.

Actually, if you have a fast pc it saves you only few seconds each try.. and it's about luck anyways to get in without premium.

ok, so let's not call it a bot tool. Semantics really. You could call a tool created by a bot company a bot tool I suppose.

At any rate, an unfair advantage is an unfair advantage. Even if it's just 5-30 seconds at a time.

Even if it's not an advantage, it's still modifying the client. Joymax doesn't want you to modify their client except for the ways they allow you to in-game via options.

Seems pretty cut and dry to me.

i am looking forward to the ban on gold bots cuz its good for all the owners of the fortress war, a lot of traffic thru jangan means a ton of money going to the fortress owners, and i own the fortress with my union xD. and like before, its easy login for a few days. all depending on how many gold bots get banned. i am kinda hoping they dont ban real players because most of my friends are botters and they will all do chargebacks which will screw it up for us cuz paypal will porbably cancel with joymax.
