Powerful character, does not determine a powerful player

HHAHAHHAHAHAH

What game are you playing? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

because even a lvl 1 player, with a powerful knowledge player, can terminate a powerful character. I assume you know how good a hacker is.

Im not a hacker.

Anyone who uses a broad of a term "hacker" to even describe the processes used to be able to "terminate" another player in SRO doesn't know the first thing about the subject.

You Farking grind on blue mobs, I would rather grind where I want to, log in when I want to, and earn my way into that high 70's group. Sure, I am tired of whiners, but you wouldn't have those if the problems didn't exist.

This is where my mindset differs greatly from yours. Many people live in optimism/pessimism or realism. Like an organized religion or atheist. Your mindset (no offense...honestly don't get mad :)) is pessimism. Goldbots, CCF, bots, and goldbuying are problems in your mind because it's something that bothers you.

Problems are:

trouble: sources of difficulty

a question or circumstance that involves difficulty or uncertainty.

The reason I believe that they are not problems in my mind is because they don't give me difficulty. SRO players have a tendency to refuse to adapt.

1st, I am a realist. I never said I don't ignore the problems or deal with them like many others do, I said they are still problems. You are saying they are not, and on top of that, trying to preach to people that they are not really problems. Log in without difficulty, without a premium. Sure, I have had a prem for 2 months, but that doesn't mean the crowding of the servers by bots doesn't exist.
Sure, there are always spots without gold bots, but why would someone have to deal with finding these spots, which may or may not have good spawns. It may not be a big problem at lower lvls, but it sure as hell sucks when you have a bunch of level 80 bots, and not even gold bots, KSing your party or clearing the fields so you get 1 kill every 20 sec, or can't finish a quest for a week because there aren't enough mobs to kill.

If I botted, it wouldn't be a problem for me either. Let the bot log me in, let the bot get KSed, who cares, it doesn't cause any aggravation, frustration and etc because I am not there to witness it.

A problem is a problem, it may not be your problem. Millions of people got killed in WW2, not my problem, I don't live in europe or asia. Millions people are starving in africa, dying of aids and deseases. NOT MY PROBLEM. You just got raped? Do I care? Not my problem. Your familly got brutally beaten by gangsters looking for cash? Not my problem. Your kids died from overdosing? Not my problem, I don't even know you.
It's still a problem even if it's not YOUR problem. "Ignorance is bliss," is that your philosophy?

I'd doubt this topic will get a sticky. Very controversial because not all people believe in the same train of thought and will continue to whine no matter what. Without the constant whining, this will turn into JMF - JoyMax Forums

Maybe I should have rephrased. I meant (maybe not said) that problems are problems if you think they are. Otherwise, they are just events. I never meant to say that they weren't problems. I probably meant to say that they weren't problems on my end

A subject can be targeted, because they are not choose randomly. Hackers wont target a level 3 noob account, they find who got the latest sun. The priority is the target, a target can be random or identified. They will determine the subjects settings, then they terminate. Although SRO is hard to surpass, there is always, alternative.

Honestly this whole thread is a bunch of people whining starting with your original post. One side whining about how people shouldn't care about botting, one side whining about how you should, another spewing garbage on their theory of human emotions, and me whining about you whining. And I thought you said something along the lines of
Temptation wrote:those who whine are trying to get others to whine with them. Useless.

Because that's the only thing I can see you've accomplished here.

I've said before. This is whining, but whining about what?

I'm not trying to get people to whine with me. Maybe I'm trying to, maybe I'm not. Hell I might even be trying to get people to whine against me.

No the question here is which one would you choose?

its not a person to person question, every situation u could ask that question differs

its about jm
a huge gaming industry company with an incredible income of people that are still officially against the ToS.

not saying u guys are wrong, in fact, the theory is quite good but its simple, JM is one big fcking failure, they go for money over customer statisfaction, people will always whine your not gonna change that, nobody is.

It's easy for you to make a statement from the outside looking in but take a minute in their shoes and stop avoiding the question.

Which would you choose as CEO of Joymax Ent.?
a) Customer satisfaction
b) Income

Ok i will give you a good answer.

In the beginning of SRO, this question would have been nonsense bcause there wasnt such a big income on stakes, right?
If they would have banned botters straight away, and made a really popular game, silkroad could be the best fckin mmo out there, no doubt. Look at the art, the ideas, the gameplay, the updates, etc.

If they would have gone for customer statisfaction BEFORE sro became bot infested they would have the same income - word.

Actually, their income would have been HIGHER. Since there wouldnt be so many goldbots, they wouldnt need 30+ servers. When the bot server crashes or goes down or something, look at rev6, all the servers drop from 3,000 people to 1,000 people. I was freaked out, everyone around me was d/cing. They would need to manage only 1/3 of the current servers, and its not cheap to manage those servers...

Lol in any other game this would be true. However if you trace them every three game servers is on the same server cluster which is why new servers come out 1 week at a time for a 3 week period then no more servers for months. We are already at 1/3 the total server limit.
