Fortress War at 7-9 PM Silkroad Standard Time?!?

The timeing is terrible for 90+% of the sro population, joymax shoved a stupid pill so far up their ass it is irreversable now.

They should make those fortress war times cycle - like move timer 6 hours every week so that every 1 month/4 weeks each time zones have one good available time for them to do those wars. Say month's first week it's 00:00GMT, next week at 06:00GMT, then 12:00GMT and finally 18:00GMT.. then cycle starts again from beginning. This way players all around the world could participate these wars better and those fortressed wouldn't be owned always by the same unions.

By the way owning jangan will be just lost for the owning guild,
it cost gold to own it cost gold to defend, only income is from tax.

Well even goldbots will move out of jangan, no 1 will ever go there so no income.

....if SRO time is GMT+9 or +10, then they should make the war start at 10pm on Saturday. That way, even if you live at GMT+12, you will get to play it from 12-2am, or 1-3am. Then everyone else would get to play it either during the day on saturday or at most during the night on friday.

I am sure many people will figure out they can go tob ed early and wake up 30 min before the siege whatever the time is, as long as it's friday night-saturday night, since they won't have to go to work/school the next day.

i dont understand why people like to whine about everything, i mean why think every update must concern about western player? how about asian player?

u cant participate in fortress then its not anyone fault, lol. why you complain western player cant play and whats joymax thinking lol, i think someone should seriously get a life.

how eastern player feel if they change the time according to western time? have u think about that?

my point is everything is about balance, eastern player can log in easily when western player log off thats what i do normally if not i need that noob premium to get in.

Sure, but why not schedule it on the weekend? I don't mind if it's morning, afternoon or evening in the weekend, but I work during the week in the morning and afternoon. Besides, if there's to be multiple castles, why not spread those wars out over the day, so everyone can participate?

because idiots at joymax think that saturday or sunday night should be the day when they are not working. I mean WTF , how the hell do they call rest of the days in week? "the day were pretending to work but actually we dont do shit "?
and about that "what about asian players " thing : WTH, go play cSRO , jSRO , vSRO or kSRO , its all asian versions. You live in 2-3 coutries that actually dont speak any of these languages but are in same time zone ? Hell , so whole friggin world should suffer cuz you live in one of those few countries compared to the rest of non-asian world ?

Fortress wars timing are easy in Korea because they all have the same time zone. But for international, they got to rotate the fortress war time every week. This will give everyone from around the world a chance at the siege.

For example, this week it will start at 1pm pacific time. That means no one on the pacific cost will be able to partipate this siege. But next week, the time will be moved to 5pm pacific time. Some people from the pacific will be able to participate in this siege. And the week after that, the time will be 9pm pacific time, hence allowing even more people from the pacific coast to join. Of course, the next one will be at 1am pacific time, hence less people from the pacific coast will join, and allows more players from prehaps Hawaii to join. etc

If rotating schedule is used, everyone from around the world will get a chance at these sieges. Else, only people from a certain part of the world will get to siege at all.

On topic... JM just needs to realize that 95% of the people that play iSRO speak English and change the name of iSRO to eSRO. Australia is probably the only English speaking country that this time isn't inconvenient for, and that's completely asinine.

and this is INTERNATIONAL sro, which part of the word INTERNATIONAL you don't understand? I am not trying to start a flame war here, i am just trying to say that you guys can't only think of yourselves. If half of the world enjoys it, the other half will not be able to. There is always pros and cons.
Let's use the server inspection as an example, it is afternoon for most asian countries. While it is night/midnight for the Western countries. The inspection is held on tuesday as well. So joymax is giving you a chance to catch up with your sleep. For some asian countries, we study half a day, those students cant enjoy sro because it's under inspection. So there will always be people who enjoy and people who don't.
So my point is, no point arguing that joymax's timing is horrible or something. When 1 party gains, the other will suffer. The only possible solution is to rotate the timing, so as to cater to the needs of everyone.

For your info, English originated from India, not the UK or the USA. Since India is in Asia, there is nothing wrong to cater the castle war for the Asians according to your logic

Nearly every major modern language has Indo-European roots (which btw Korean does not), that proves nothing. Approximately 1.8 billion people worldwide speaks some degree of English, and is easily one of the top 3 languages in the world.

Most Asian languages (Including Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Turkic) actually stem from the Altaic language family, which is completely distinct from the Indo-European languages.

Again, going back to the fact that English is the language of iSRO, and is spoken in nearly every timezone. iSRO is an INTERNATIONAL game (i guess this is spelled in all caps now?) so the only fair thing would be to rotate the times a few hours every week. If they want to have one set time in kSRO, cSRO, jSRO, etc that's fine because most people playing on those servers are in the same geographical area. iSRO doesn't benefit from that luxury. I for one, have to get up at 5am if I want to participate.

my bad only reason i thought chinese made the game is cuz you can pick the race Chinese or Europe and i know Europe didnt make the game....so maybe they should fix their mistake in the next update and put KOREAN race or Europe.
