IRL they would just arrest you. so, GM messaging is out.
lol.. You really underestimate the power which GMs can do. I've already addressed to your type of post in my before posts, but I'll just type out another lengthy post to point out what you say is inconceivable.
Let's use this forum for an example. It's free to register, you're free to do whatever a member of this community can do in a typical forum. Now, should we get rid of personal messaging moderators or administrators just because some crazy person might continually spam the authority? That's just a ridiculous idea.
Once you're banned, you lose your account. Assuming you reached a point where banning you would be the best decision. How long does it take to recreate an account? It doesn't take too long to create your account, but if you were to continually create an account over and over, it adds up. Especially when you need to create another EMAIL account to accompany your registering. Now, tell me.. How long does it take to ban a player? Not that long at all!
The player to GM isn't only just a report, it can be a help tool for players. Let's say you're stuck because of some mapping flaw, you cry for help, GM comes to investigate, then off you go as he teleports you back to town. Besides, GMs can't patrol everywhere in the game. Which is why you help him or her by reporting the baddies.
You really can't be so scared of people spamming the player to GM.
