I dont know about others history, but this is a new server. if they bot on United Grounds they will be banned...

so when you sign up for their server use a different username and password.
they dont jm's database so you will need to remake an account on thier server. use a different username and password not hard.

But whats is the point to install a random .exe for a server thats not even up yet?

own a license for a FREE game? read my post, you are ALLOWED to create a private server, but NOT to make money off it. You are not allowed to make money from SELLING silk or other joymax items. If it stays free, then it's legal, if i'm wrong, please post a part of the TOS where it says, that it's not allowed to create private servers. ty

lawers? google WoW private servers, there are more then 100 private servers, why blizzard doesnt sue them? they make millions of dollars per month.

Silkroad Online is free to play. It is not open source. The server-side software for Silkroad is not free. The client is. You still need a license to use the server software on your own systems.

You don't need a license to use the client, but that doesn't mean you're allowed to modify it, btw.

Similarly, Microsoft Exchange is free to use (i.e., you can download Outlook Express and freely connect to a Microsoft Exchange server that you have an account for. That doesn't mean you can download Microsoft Exchange for free, or reverse engineer your own copy of the server software without Microsoft shoving their lawyers up your a$$.

Same with Joymax.

take out goldbots in sro and thats pretty much the number of real players.

joymax is funny. they think just cuz there servers are full that there game is doing well.

im pretty much already playing a single player game. i dont see how playing a private server with 100 (omg real and legit) people will be any worse. hope it comes out soon. might for gaymax to act like a real company.
