its easy to kill a solo mob; most 1 or 2 hit em. you just get almost no xp from em.

In fact, they are spawned for parties, maybe when you got to that place, a party was there before you and that was a remainder. I think that they can be spawned if not in share party, but there would be only one or 2 spawn tops. If you have a share party with many people, a lot of this mobs will spawn. And start spawning stronger mobs i.e. party champions.


dang. every time i have walked around there i have seen party mobs.. but
ya, i guessed they started party mobs on a higher level; i been soloing the
first 10.

ok my bad. partymobs do get spawned by parties.


Yeah, Lions are a very popular place to party grind because they have a decent spawn rate. The lion's fortress in the south has an amazing spawn rate but as they are aggro, you need a good tanker team, and it's not always got.

Hmm interesting.
I have a question, I have read on another topic that parties spawn party mobs. And that after the party spawns them they will de-spawn after 5 min.

I would have to look through the other topics to tell you who said this but what if what you are seeing there is in fact a party mob that was just left there by a party?

Will the addition of European map increase the amount of players a server can hold?

It would really suck if the server capacity will remain, leading to more traffic since I'm sure a lot of players will start using Euro chars.

I'm thinking the next newest server that comes would be mostly euro chars like 75% euro and 25% chinese, which would make it very imbalanced

As far as i've seen party mobs last WAY longer than 5 minutes. I have seen some of them in my grind place and i attack normal mobs and after a long time, those are still there. So you can find some of those while just passing by. I've found a lot in "Craps" (crabs lol JM's typo).

For solo grind, might be Wizard/Warlock if fighting a hard mob, burn or poison for DOT and then start nuking. Cleric can heal, but those skills take some time to be cast, and if you are let's say, solo grinding and running away from a giant, you don't want to waste time casting heal, because you don't have much HP to begin with.

And for being in a party, any build is needed, so it only depends on what build the others are using. Only, as juntakashi pointed out, rogues and warlocks are not very demanded, so, with a Warrior (Tanker) + Wizard (Damage Dealer) + Buffer (Bard) + Healer (Cleric) should be enough for a sucessful party.

why aren't rogues very demanded, i tho was thinking they can also take the role of the damage dealer.

They can't be compared with a Wizard... with all the AoE attacks, a Wizard is the best damage dealer.

Let me get this right, it will just be one massive map like befor but this time with euro characters running around?

Also, does thi mean that the euro chaarcters builds will completly destroy the original chinese builds?

and if we already have a lvl 80 ifire nuker, will we have to convert that to a euro chracter or? is it just how it is?

I dont htink so the chinese and the euro charcaters have a 50/50 chance of pvp depends how you and your character is set up

Hahaha, yeah... there will be a side of the map where european characters will be a lot more abundant.

Not really, depending on what class you are you might have certain advantages over a Chinese character and vise versa. I believe its more like "50/50".

If you mean that we have level 80 Chinese fire nukers or any type of Chinese character; no you don't and can't. European characters are another race. You can only choose what race you are going to be at the startup screen. So if you have a Chinese and want a Euro character you will have to make one.

I'm sure they will. Just because mages do more AoE damage does not mean that rogues and warlocks will be useless. A good balanced party will contain at least one of each class. A rogue could probably off tank a monster that the warrior is not on and a warlock can debuff every monster that the party is attacking whether or not the mage is attacking it.

There is any map with the Cerberus and Captain Ivy spawn locations? (I know that can be considered a rape going for lvl24 and 30 uniques but anyways :roll: ).

Dunno about maps, but isn't the unique hunting in europeside going to demand even bigger and well organized party? If you can't grind solo because of the potion delay, you sure as hell can't solo a unique. So can it be considered as rape? :P

Although I'm afraid that lvl 70-80 chinese are gonna kill every single unique on both sides of the map... :(

Q1: What does the highlighted green name represent in a party?

Q2: What happens with quest drops, and kills? If your party drops a mob everyone gets 1 kill or what? Or if a quest item drops everyone gets it?

A1:the green person is the guy u have selected, makes it easier to heal ppl. :wink:
A2: yes that happens (i think) only if u are in the same area as that person

I have a question or two.
In euro SRO, will we have to go through the whole process of SP farming?

And will we continue to grind grind grind for exp? Like..insane amounts of grind? Is it just like grinding chinese except your in a party? Would you say party exp is the same as solo chinese exp?

Yes npc hunters only attack player thief but a thief can pop a low level trader with a lightning imbue hunter bowman!! GL!

Will you be able to have more than 3 characters on one account after the Euro-update (say: 3 chinese chars and 3 euro chars)?
I surely hope so, because i won't have to delete a lowbie char to use my silk if that's the case :banghead:
