well i made it read only but it keeps changing itself..so its eitherway or another....both are the same .

For good measure, I put back my original pk file, that I had so i no logner have 9th deg, I was gonna make it 8th deg for my 5th deg garms but even so I don't wanna take the risk so i'll just leave it for now, lol. It's a shame about the msaying you could get baned for 9th deg effect ima miss the garm chest it was pretty nice.

Cruor has a good point though, joymax only said about 9th deg equipment they din't say you couldn't mod anything else outside of that and get baned, so if he did get baned it was probably for something more then just a regular pk editing.
