male playing a male char for 2 good reasons...

1)I'm male irl so why not.

2)I dont want to get hit on by adolescent horny kids who think female char=female player

this could have benefits tho as these ppl will give u free stuff cause they picture you as jessica alba on the other side of the screen.

Thanks everyone for posting so far. Where are all the girls? 12 out of 102 so far. MMORPG is supposed to be a genre with a good 20 to 30% of females playing (according to the lit.); science can be wrong sometimes. :banghead:

things that motivates me is while im using a girl character, i might just right click and hold down, and looking at her panties. ROFL!!!!

and there is this guy pm me and requesting for a bj.
then keep on tracing me and spamming me for it. after a while losing him and having some rest, this guy appears from nowhere and stand infront of my char(while sitting) and say...yeah...

I have thought about changing to a female char(I'm a guy irl). I am going to change once I hit 32. Prices are lower on female gear and all the statements mentioned above.

Anyways, I always play different things, in SRO female is just cheaper, in games where it doesn't matter ( only npc gear, like GW ) I play the one where the suit looks best.

Yes, I was eluding to that in a previous post. When the hardcore gamer is not grinding for 6 hrs a day in the game, he/she (mainly he) is posting comments in forums! Within the percentage of females who does play the game, it seems an even smaller percentage posts in forums compared to males. Just exploring some factors why less females are playing games in general. May be she's busy ironing for I know! May be the guy should help out instead of grinding in the game; I'm not here to judge! :roll:

First Character was Male, Most drops turned out female, and the male char was a 1:1 build.

And for all of those disillusioned young men out there in the game:
1) I do not want to be your GF after passing by you on the road to Hotan
2) Just because I say hi, does not mean my character wants to ..... you
3) It is a game ffs!!! The only thing I can hold in my hand is my weapon and I can kill you if I want too!!!
4) NO - I cannot sponser you for coming to the USA - it does not work that way
5) Go get urself a real girlfriend - they feel, look, smell and taste better irl
6) The reason you probably don't have a real girlfriend is because you are on line 24/7

I can combine both so not all boys are the same you know?

But when i play my second character,people are always saying hi and stuff,i never really paid attention to it after i read about it here.

Btw i think it's cool that girls are treated equally here,it shows character and a good atmosphere.
